Everyone was sitting in the waiting room, there eyes were red puffy, and the tears refused to flow down more. Sameer he was broken just a few mins ago, he was hearing the voice of the most important person in his life and now, he he cant even be sure that will he ever see her or not. Why he came here, is the fucking time more important than Naina, his Naina no it wasn't. Then, why, why???. They were sitting there from more than 2 hours now, everyone were more than scared. The doctor came.
Doc: Listen, the patient is better now. I couldn't help but say this is a miracle, because in this case only 0.2% of people survived and now she is one of them. God have his hand on the girl.
Sameer's eyes had the spark. He was more than happy, he just got up from his place and gave doctor the tightest hug. Doctor patted his back and let it go.
Sameer: Thank you so much doctor, thank you so much.
Doctor: Don't thank me son.
Thank him.
He raised his finger in air, Sameer just smiled with all his tooth.
Preeti: Can we meet her.
Doctor: I am really sorry bout that, she is not awake till now. But if you really cant wait I will suggest pls go person by person.
All: Yeah!
Doctor left, and Sameer ran behind him. He got happy tears, he entered the room, she was lying on the bed. She had stitches on her head, hands and god knows where not. But still, she was more than beautiful he couldn't help but thank the stars for giving him a Naina Agarwal in his life. He went, and sat beside her on a steel stool. He slowly and carefully took her hand in his, so slowly like if he applied more force she will break or something. Her hands were warm, he smiled through his tears. He leaned his head on the wall behind him. He closed his eyes. He dont know how, he fell asleep.
Later;
He slowly opened his eyes, when he saw the most beautiful view. Naina was staring at him with a beautiful curve on her lips. In just a heartbeat, he hugged her. Not tightly, because she was very delicate, very very delicate. Now that she was awake again tears took place. He lightly sobbed in the crook of her neck.
Sameer: Pagal ho tum, kabhi kuch thik se nahi karti. Aaj agar tumhe kuch hi jata to me kasam se marr jata.
Naina get separated from him. "Kuch hua toh nahi na, bus khush hu ki tumhe phirse dekhne mil gaya warna toh..."
Sameer: Pagal ho tum. Vo...voh...Naina.
She just hummed. Actually he wanted to confess right ahead, but he was scared, scared of rejection. He knew she fucking don't believe in love. But before anything else they are bestfriends and they promised they will never lie, or hide anything from each other. So here we go.....
Sameer: Naina.
Naina: Hmm?
Sameer: I love you.
Her eyes widened, but when she saw her genuineness in his hazel eyes, her reaction softened. She smiled
"I love you too" she said that in a blink of an eyes. This only thing that came out of her mouth before she leaned in for a kiss. And slowly they kissed and this time for real, they did this because they wanted to. Not because of any fucking reason, just because they wanted to. After some seconds they parted away, there foreheads were touching.
Sameer: Baby I, I wanna know. What do you think when your alone. Is it me yeah, are you thinking of me yeah? We've been friends now for a while. Wanna know when you smile, is it me yeah? Are thinking bout me yeah
Naina smiled and continued,
"Girl what would you do, would you stay? If I were to say.
Now both said it together,
"I wanna be your, yeah, baby let me be your, let me be your last first kiss"
They smiled.
Naina: One Direction ke gaane gaa kar karna kya chahte ho.
She said with are smiling face.
Sameer: Bus, mann me aa diya toh gaa diya.
This time Sameer leaned in for the kiss, just because he can. Naina kissed him Naina. They could here the fireworks, they couldn't help but think it was for them.
