...she sighed with relief and so did I. There was Michael, sleeping on the steering wheel.
"Oh thanks God he is okay...", I opened the door of the car, waking up this drunk little buddy, "Thanks God you are here!"
He mumbled something.
"What were you trying?!", I was showing him how worried I was.
"Luke?", his voice seemed totally sleepy and drunk.
"Yeah it's me bro.", I tried to smile although I would rather kick Michael's ass!
"I... I was scared.", he could barely talk how drunk he was.
"Of what?", I was totally confused.
"Of doing... it", he made a pause.
"Please, bro....Don't leave me alone...", he begged.
I looked at Emma and we were both very confused. We decided to just take him to Emma's house, she was alone and if I took him to my place... well... that' wouldn't be that nice...
"I'll never leave you alone.", I finally answered.

We put Michael on the couch in the living room and he fell asleep like a baby. When we made sure that there won't be any problems we went to the kitchen.
"Man...This was a hard night.", I put my face in my hands.
"You can't go home...", she said like it's a clear thing.
"Yeah... Just give me a blanket, I'll sleep on the floor, in the living room, next to this drunk mate.", I pointed at Michael.
"That floor is cold for sleeping on it.", she rolled her eyes.
"Well...I don't have a better i-", she cut me off,  "Oh shut up. Tonight you can sleep on my rooms floor."
She smiled. Yeah, I know Emma for years and we slept at each others houses a billion times but... this is happening for the first time.
"Um...okay", I felt a bit awkward.

After we got some chips and Coke we went to her room. I lie down on her bed while she was looking at the DVD's and she looked confused.
"What's wrong dude?", I asked her.
"I don't know what should we watch first... Maybe that new film, The Best of Me?", she looked at me, smiling.
"Oh man, is that some crying shit 'cause I'm really not in the mood for t-", she cut me again, "Hahah, don't worry, it's not, it's... a romantic drama...And then we could watch some comedy, like 22 Jump Street."
I said in childish voice: "But I don't waannna watch romantic shiiiiit....."
She smiled and continued to talk in childish voice: "Buuuuuut the night is looong, if we watch some comedy and then this... And I'm really into watching this mooooviiieee"
She put the DVD in the DVD player without saying a word and opened chips. While waiting for it to load we were talking about random shit... Like always.

"So... soon you are going out of Sydney.", she said, trying to cover up her sad voice with a smile.
"Well...yes....", I said, not really knowing what should I answer.
We sat in silence for a few moments... She was staring at the floor.
"For how long?", she said breaking the silence between us.
"Well...for... almost 4 months...", I sighed 'cause I knew how hard it's for her. And for me.
"Man...You came here for like week and a half, and then... You are going again...", she looked at me and with her sad brown eyes. I was so torn!
"Don't do that to me.", I whispered and now we were in the middle of the bed, our faces just a couple of centimeters far from each other.
"I know it's hard for you too but... I just... can't... Ugh, sorry dude", she was whispering too.
"You don't have to say you are sorry.", I really didn't wanted her to say sorry 'cause she is just saying what's on her heart and I can't really judge her. She looked at me again, and I felt something strange in my body. Her beautiful brown eyes were so hypnotic! I started to lean, don't ask me why, I just... felt like...that, and she accepted it, but in the last second she startled.
"Oh...uh...um... I'm still playing the guitar you know?", she tried to act as normal as she could but her hands were shaking when she got the guitar in her hands.
"Really? Um... That's amazing!", I tried to get over the thing that happened a few seconds ago, "Do you want to play some song to me?"
She didn't answered anything, she just ran her fingers over the strings and the so well known melody came. Beside you. She seemed so concentrate while running up and down the strings, with that bracelet I bought her for her 16. birthday... She never takes it off... Oh damn man, she was looking so beautiful. And her voice... it was giving me goosebumps.

And then it became obvious. I might have...some feelings for her!
