My head lays flush
against the soft pillow
the mattress comforting
my body and mind
the blankets keeping me
warm when the heat is out
Truly a good place to be
and where my time is spent
for relaxation
not the living room
not outside
my bedroom
where I can lay
comfy and warm
The bed accepting me
as one
refusing to give me up
I can't lose their trust
so the bedroom I come
My favorite place
in this place I call
my home
