Like always, I had the dream.
I stared at the receptionist. I'd always feared it, but now, I was just angry. If it weren't for the Carls, I'd still have my best friend with me. I looked at it and screamed "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US"
I woke up in tears. I screamed into my pillow and balled like a baby. By the time I fell asleep again, I was able to have the dream. I sat there and stared at the robot for longer than I ever had before. When I couldn't stand the sight of him any longer, I went outside.
Jay sounds like a kid in the candy store when she talks about this place. I felt like I was walking alone through a graveyard. I hated the dream even more than before. It was nothing but I reminder of what I had lost.
I paced the empty streets until I woke up, alone in my room. My room felt just as empty as the streets.
