Derek picked me up from my house and we went to dinner and now we're going to the state fair. Derek seems like he has something to tell me because he's been nervous all night. I think I should ask him what's up.
"You okay?" I said before grabbing his hand and giving it a light squeeze. He looked over at me and smiled before pulling the car over. He turned towards me and grabbed both of my hands.
"Angie, we've been talking for the past month and a half and I'm ready to just be able to call you my girl. You're so special to me and I just want to be able to see that happy smiling face everyday. You're just perfect in every aspect and I'm starting to fall for you more and more as the days pass. Will you be my girlfriend Angelina?" By the time he was done I was smiling so wide. I nodded my head yes before leaning in and kissing him.
"Now I get to kiss you whenever I want" he smiled against my lips before pecking me again.
