Chapter 13 A

Four days later

Arnav was driving to the Elite International School. Today was his kid's annual day function. He was excited and nervous. Excited for his kid's performances. And nervous because he also has to participate in one programme with his kids and he was scared and nervous that he would do any mistake and it will make his kid's loose. He didn't wanted to disappoint his babies.

Though he had practised n number of times for the performance, sometimes with his kids, sometimes alone. Still he was nervous. It was the first time he was getting to do something for his kids. From their birth, everything was done by Khushi alone. Now for the first time after five years he got an opportunity to do something for his kid's happiness, be their father in real sense, fulfil their wishes and he didn't wanted to ruin the opportunity by doing some blunder.

Hence for the first time in his life Arnav Singh Raizada was nervous. He feared failure. He had never feared failure. Even when he was thrown out of his paternal house with his sister nor when he had stepped into the cunning and ruthless business world with no back support. He had fought with every odds and had won. But never feared for anything. But today he was scared that he would fail in a mere school programme and disappoint his kids. He sighed.

Akash sat beside him lost in his own thoughts. Last four days were very much eventful for him. After Payal agreed to give him a chance, things changed drastically in his life. He spoke with Payal about everything that day. His feelings, his thoughts, his actions, everything. Even heard Payal's POV and tried to understand her.

Maybe they always had a long communication gap in between them. It was always Payal trying to talk to him and make him understand and he never listening to her doing his wishes and forcing her to do what he wanted. Also He went to hospital next day itself with Payal. Did all his tests and started his treatment. He didn't wanted to do any blunder anymore.

He even found out about the Baba who misbehaved with Payal and had punished him. Though the initiative was taken by Arnav to punish the Baba. He was a bit late in that matter. He was focused on solving the problems in his life and when he remembered about giving a punishment to that Baba, Arnav had already done the necessities for that. But he didn't step back this time and did what he could.

After the whole fiasco in the morning four days back. Arnav had asked Aman to found about the Baba. Immediately after finding about him and his weaknesses, Arnav made a plan to expose the Baba. And by the end of the day, the people who were blindly following the Baba, were throwing stones at him.

Once his true colours were brought out, Arnav had made sure that he rot in jail for the rest of his life. But not before giving the Baba a nice third rate treatment for his deed by his own hands. And that was when Akash also stepped in and extracted his own revenge. He had beaten him blue and black. Even broke a few bones and made sure that he never misbehaved with any girl anymore. And after that the Baba was thrown into the jail.

Another thing that happened in these four days was, Payal had turned outspoken and brave all of a sudden. She spoke her mind and did her wishes. Never cared about anyone's whims and wishes anymore. She didn't ran around the house fulfilling everyone's demands. She only did what she wanted. She cooked if she felt so. She did other chores if she felt so.

In a few instances, she even had fights with Anjali and Sheetal regarding doing household works when they demanded her to cook and clean. But Payal didn't kept silent this time. She had very graciously told Anjali off saying that she is not her servant and if she wanted something, then either she requested properly or can do the work on her own. Anjali was miffed by her behaviour and had tried to create a scene by shedding her crocodile tears and emotional blackmailing. But nobody bothered about her. Nani and Mami were simply tired of her behaviour while Arnav, Akash, Payal and Khushi were least bothered about her.
