I sat in the small white boat with Alice as she rowed going across the lake somewhere. I stayed as far away from the boat's edges as possible not wanting to get my outfit wet or ruined. The dodo and the mouse were swimming in the water and I rolled my eyes. Suddenly there were voices off in the distance. "Catch, row! Catch, row!" They kept repeating as they got closer until they were next to our boat. Alice had stopped rowing and didn't look amused by the new friend's arrival. They were pirates. A frog and flamingo and a somewhat normal-looking pirate with hints of seashell design. "Hello, Alice! you're looking right knackered." Said the shell pirate. "Don't worry! shore's not far off!" Piped the frog pirate looking happy as ever. "No need to be looking so glum. We're all smiles here, we are! Especially with your friend here!" The flamingo motioned over to me and I waved at them smiling softly my tail flicked softly. Alice looked away from them grumbling "Tell me what's on the other side of this lake?"
The pirates all looked shocked "Lake!?" They shouted together "Oh I say! Is this a lake?" Said the frog spinning and smiling. "The sea, I thought. Was that a mistake?" The flamingo joined the frog. She too was smiling. The shell pirate smirked and blew out smoke from his cig "You'll have to forgive 'er. This is clearly a river. I've known for a while that we're on the Nile!" I cleared my throat "Not to disappoint you all but this is, in fact, a lake." The frog frowned softly "So you mean this place is truly a lake?!" The flamingo bent over to look at the water "Not the sea. It was a mistake!" Alice frowned "Bloody dodo's would you stop spouting all this rubbish?" The dodo maid and the mouse were now in the boat making me move to the back so I wouldn't get wet. "Well, I'm the only dodo here...But I'm sorry! You can say whatever you'd like of course I'm sorry!" Alice paled and I suddenly stood up pointing over everyone's head. "Look the white rabbit. He's coming this way." The white rabbit came at us running above the water. When he got near the pirate's boat he jumped over them before continuing to run. This made the pirates gasp and smile in awe of the white rabbit. Alice suddenly leaned forward and yelled "Stop at once Sebastion! You are not leaving me here!" She grabbed the ores ready to row when there were too beast like hows. The flamingo removed her glasses looking serious "I's recognize those voices anywhere." "The Puppy!" Shouted the frog.
I turned to look in the direction everyone else ws looking just in enough time to see a giant white demon hound paddling quickly through the water with something on its back but I couldn't make it out not having enough time to get a good look at it before the Puppy came barreling at us making giant waves dragging us under. I cursed mentally since I got all wet. As I was dragged under I noticed Alice wasn't trying to swim. I frowned and grabbed her arm dragging her up to air and started to swim to shore.
Though Alice claimed not to care for the water, many suspected that she avoided it because she couldn't swim a stroke...However, she did excel at being kidnapped, attacked, and drowned. Frankly, she might have had more consideration for her rescuers.
Finally, Alice opened her eyes and I smiled as she sat up before hugging her. "Oh, Alice thank god you are okay! I thought I lost you!" She shook her head softly but shivered "I'm okay, but I'll catch cold if I don't dry off...I need a change of clothing." I nod and stand up to look around. I turned to my side and saw a nice pink dress. Smiling I gently grabbed it and brought it over to her. "Will this do Alice?" She gasped slightly and sighed before grabbing the dress gently from my hands and pushed me out of the small room we were in so she could change. Once she was in her dress she pulled back the curtain she was behind and I smiled widely. "You look beautiful!" Apparently I wasn't the only one that thought that as in a matter of seconds Alice was scooped up in the mock turtle's arms making me frown and growl softly under my breath. "I have so looked forward to meeting you." The mock turtle shimmered as he spoke. Alice looked uncomfortable immediately trying to push him away "Unhand me!" The mocking turtle smirked "Playing coy, are we? How charming! now, stop fighting and dance with me" The mock turtle pushed me out of the way as he brought Alice onto the beach. I tried to stand up and he placed one foot on my chest to keep me down as he talked to MY Alice telling her about the cruel queen that ruled over Wonderland.
The mock turtle stepped off of me as the music started from his shell and he forced Alice to dance with him. He dragged her around and forced to dip her. Alice looked so uncomfortable and wasn't doing well either. She shivered and I tried to step towards them. As soon as I began moving a crowd appeared to watch the two dance. I forced my way through them desperate to get to Alice. Not only because I loved her but I needed to still assist her to the white rabbit. I managed to push though. The mock turtle kept making her dance turning her away from me every time I reached my hand out to grab her. Alice pushed the mock turtle way but he grabbed her again and started to spin her. They suddenly started to spin her faster and faster until she was launched into the air. I was able to grab onto her foot as we were both launched off into the air screaming.
Her body was slender as a twig and he was as light as a feather. When thrown by an overexcited dance partner, they could go quite a distance...
