II

     I tripped fell backwards, into the river and everything went black.

     My head was spinning, i felt like i was laying on a rough surface, i opened my eyes to see the blinding sun shining on me.

"She's awake!" Someone said in relief

     I sat up and looked around, i was at the shore of the river from earlier. The short boy sat on a rock next to me and i saw his friends heading towards us from the sewer, 3 of them and one of them was Bill Denbrough.

"What's your name? Mine's Eddie." The short- i mean Eddie said

"Y/n, um, what happened exactly?" I asked

"You.. you fell out of no... no where and-" Bill said

"You fell into the river." A boy with glasses said, cutting Bill's sentence

     I glanced over the bush i was hiding in earlier, no sign of that creepy clown. I fell into the river? No wonder my body feels cold and aching.

"Who got me out of the water?" I asked again

"Eddie and Richie did." The tall one said pointing at Eddie and the one with glasses

"And what's your name?" I asked him

"Stanley, but you can just call me Stan." Stan said as he held out his hand

"Y/n, nice to meet you." I said, taking his hand and shook it

"Y/n? What a beautiful name you have!" Richie said, everyone except him and i sighed

     I smiled at his compliment, he's quite a gentleman ain't he?

"Y/n, what made.. made you fall?" Bill asked

     Should i say that i was spying? No that's stupid, but maybe they know something about that clown? I gulped.

"I was chased by a clown." I said, suddenly everything became quiet, i can only hear the sound of the river flowing.

"Wh.. what, what clown?" Bill stuttered

     I told them about what the clown looked like, it's orange red hair, white face, everything. I saw the fear and confusion in their eyes, Richie seemed so uneasy, Stan froze in place, Eddie took out an inhaler from his fanny pack and Bill took my hand and pulled me.

"We.. we have to go to Ben's, Y/n you sh..should come with us." Bill said

     All of us nodded and got on their bikes, i didn't bring mine so i got on Eddie's, as we left, i took a last glance of the bush, it was there, holding a red balloon, it seemed unhappy.

     We arrived at a house and someone else arrived soon after, we all got off our biked then i saw one girl running up to us.

"Sorry i'm late guys!" She said, panting, i've seen her before too

"It's okay Bev.. Beverly." Bill smiled

"New member?" She asked, pointing at me who's standing behind Bill

"I'm Y/n." I said as i wave

"I'm Beverly! Hey, don't you go to our school?" She asked and i nodded

"I'm Mike, pleasure to meet you, Y/n." The other one said and i said hi to him

"Welcome to the losers' club, Y/n!" Beverly said

     Not much long after, the front door of the house opened to reveal someone who i assumed is Ben and he told us to come inside, we went up to his room and i stared in awe, it's filled with books, posters, and newspapers.
