Her eyes emitted a translucent liquid
All because the world she was born into has been wicked
Salt swept into the pores of her cheeks
Motionless she sat, as her sadness leaked
Crying only showed weakness
She knew this, but the girl only wanted to be, needed
And saying that out loud somehow only made her feel, stupid
