for five days they both ignored each other, thinking "i'll text him later" but never doing it.

until tay decided to show up at the coffee shop again which surprised new when he saw him. taking things face to face is ten times harder for new than it is texting.

"hey.." tay said as he approached

"i have a break in 5minutes so you can just wait until i'm done" new said not wanting to look up. for those five days the girl didn't show up, new was all wrong and made tay feel bad about it.

and after 5 minutes as said, new slowly made his way to tay who was patiently waiting for him.

"hi.." new said the most awkward 'hi' he has ever said.

"im sorry, "
"for bothering you while working"

"actually.." new wasn't going to run away from this.
"i think i was overreacting " he looked down as he played with his fingers
"the girl didn't show up again and i made things weird between us.."

tay laughed
"i thought you were going to yell at me"

"hey! be more serious about this, i actually walked around thinking i made you feel bad and THAT made ME feel bad"

"you care about me so much that you went around thinking about me for five days?" tay teased

"ha ha"
new fake laughed
"but are we good though? i'd like to talk to you like we did before"

"never thought i'd ever hear you say that"
"but yes,"

"maybe i've accepted you as a friend" new smiled

"next step is to accept me as a boyfriend" tay laughed

"oh my god will you ever stop"

"nope"
