THE CAGE I KNOW

I know a place
A neat mess. A free cage.
An orderly pandemonium
A place with images lacking true self
Harboring empty conversations and pointless tête a têtes
Accommodating people bound by the shackles of liberty
Never alone, yet lonely
Cos outside this place, they're faced with the awful reality of not being truly known
So they'll rather remain in this bright darkness than get into that dark brightness
Of what use is talk when I can't commune with the heart?
Of what use are avatars? You know I can see beyond that act
The most of it is no less a charade
I'll rather socialize the old fashioned way than partake in this awkward pretence
Did I offend you?
Sorry I didn't mean to rain  on your parade
Notwithstanding, for some, in this place they find solace
