"Welcome back to the show! Now, our next guest is the ever-glowing actress who has won the hearts of the world with her sweet and bubbly personality. Here to promote the release of her new movie "Whirlwind", please welcome Amara Kishore!"
As Jimmy introduced her, Amara smiled, waved and blew kisses to the audience. There was a positive uproar coming from the opposite end of her as everyone was excited and enthralled that she was back in the Tonight Show's studio.
"Hi, oh my god! Thank you for having me here Jimmy, this really never gets old!" she squeaked back with the same amount of excitement she had the first time she came to the studio all those years ago.
"No problem, you're one of my favorite people Amara! I need to have you in my studio every year!" Anyone who had met Amara and had gotten to know her would confess about how eloquently amiable the girl was. She was always lighting up the room with her energy and made sure to turn anyone's frown, upside down.
Amara turned to the audience and exclaimed how she didn't bribe Jimmy to call her one of his favorite people and the audience erupted with glee.
"It's true, I'm not lying, she really is one of my favorites. You're extremely humble and you're always smiling, our days just get better when you're there, don't you guys agree?" He panned the question towards the crowd where they replied in agreement.
"Stop flirting with me Jimmy, I'm gonna get really red." she quipped back. Amara could never handle compliments, especially ones made in public. She'd get clammy and start stuttering.
"Alright so let's talk about your new movie. Now, this is your first time working with this cast and Ava DuVernay correct? When the news broke out that Ava wanted you to be in the movie, how did you react to that?"
"Well, we both know who Ava DuVernay is. I absolutely love all of her films and I had always wanted to work with her. So when she called my manager up to ask me to audition, I thought "This is crazy' It's Ava DuVernay and she's calling for me? Is she alright? Did she get a concussion or something, I don't know!" Amara spouted, gaining a humorous chuckle from Jimmy and the audience.
"So I went down for the auditions, nervous as hell, all sweaty and everything, I went in delivered my lines, came out and went home. My manager calls me up like 2 days later and before I even let her say anything, I was already apologizing and ranting, 'I'm sorry! I know, I know, it was a bad audition, please can we not talk about this' and I swear to god, I think I started crying a little."
"My manager was like 'Amara sweetheart listen, you got the role babe' and I instantly fell silent. Kinda just stumped over my chair and went 'WAIT WHAT?!'. My friends noticed my outburst and asked if everything's okay and I just nodded my head, you know like an idiot!" she further explained, pulling off the face she made when she got the call. She stated how she started screaming when she found out who the rest of the cast was, not believing she was going to work with some of the most famous artists in the world.
