So sorry it's been a few days without an update! I got busy and totally forgot to write! Anyways here is chapter 5. And I'll have chapter 6 up by Friday!
I woke up to Daryl snoring obnoxiously loud, so I decided to just let him sleep since he's probably hungover. I walk to the dinning room to see everyone there well almost everyone. My dad and Shane aren't here yet so I go to Shane's room. "Shane, you up?" I ask knocking on the door extra loud. "Shhh! Gosh! It's like you are doing that on purpose!" "Hehe maybe I am." "Whatever i was just getting ready to go, do u need anything?" "No just wanted to say hi, and do this." I leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Shall we go before they get suspicious ?" I ask with a smirk. "Damn tease." Shane mumbles following after me. I never thought I could be this happy with Shane. I mean yeah he and I haven't put a title but I'm happy, he likes me and I like him. Well more like love him but no one needs to know that yet. •skip to CDC blowing up (honestly just to lazy to write to write it lol) We eventually had to give up Shane's Jeep and Daryl's truck to save on gas and station absolutely didn't want me riding in the back of Daryl's motorcycle, which obviously brought suspicion to my parents eyes, thanks Shane. So I am currently riding in the RV with Shane, Glenn, t-dog, Andrea and Dale. We eventually came to a stop because there was a "traffic jam" up ahead and the rv stopped. "We can go through the cars and find stuff to use." Daryl says. "Like water and food" Glenn suggests "I don't know how I feel about this, this is a graveyard." I'm still pissed off at my mom for putting herself on Shane, so I snap at her. "Mom, everywhere is a graveyard we can't escape it! Just do what has to be done." I said walking away to start scavenging. I felt hands slide around my waist and a body up against my back. "We better not get caught"I said as I turned around to face Shane. "Shh" Shane said leaning down to kiss me. I smile into the kiss grabbing onto his thick hair. "Ah come on guys get a room!" Glenn tells a little to loud. We both jump away from eachother out of breathe and freaked out someone else saw. "Don't say a word Glenn." "Hey hey don't worry I won't, I ain't a snitch Harp, but I'm a very bad liar so if They ask me I'm sorry in advance." I look at Shane and Shane just shakes his head walking towards a water truck. "Glenn did I say we needed water?" Glenn and I start laughing as Shane pours water all over himself. Everything seemed to be good and happy until a horde of walkers Came threw. Shane grabbed my hand and told us to get under a car. As we were hiding I looked over and saw Carl and Sophia. I wish I could go comfort them but I can't, not yet. As the walkers died down and finally came to a stop i started to crawl out of the car, and that's when we heard a scream. Sophia's. I went to go after her but both Glenn and Shane held me back, saying my dad is going for her. I was a little pissed they wouldn't let me go, but I understand they are all just as scared as her. I went over to my brother and hugged him just as Lori came to check on us, I gave her a glare and walked away. "Harper I am your mother and you need to stop treating me the way you are." "Seriously mom? Or should I even call u that? I mean cmon! You have your husband back an you are still trying to go for Shane ? Dads bestfriend! How could u!? " I yelled at her realizing a lot of people just heard that. Whoops. I turned around and walked away looking for Daryl.
•little while later• Dad, Shane, Daryl and Glenn went out lookin for Sophia because apparently she never made it back here, I found a bunch of items though as I was looking around, A bunch of canned food and some blankets and jackets for both the women and men here that'll come in handy for the winter as I stashed them into a big black truck that I instantly fell in love with. "Hey baby" someone said from behind me making me jump. "Shane! What are you doing ? Aren't u guys looking for Sophia ?" I asked. "Rick sent Glenn and I back to not panic everyone." "Oh" I said "Oh and Shane, I found the car of my dreams" I said way more dramatic then needed. "Haha" Shane chuckled which is the cutest thing ever. "I also found a bunch of supplies I have stashed in there, thought we should just keep it in the car till we absolutely need it." I said looking at him. "Smart" Shane said as he leaned in and started kissing me, which then led into a full blown makeout session. As we finally pulled apart out of breathe both our lips were swollen. I gave Shane a small smile and I can feel the blush. "Be mine" Shane said out of nowhere "What?" "Will you be mine ?" Shane asked yet again. My heart instantly fluttered at the thought of being his girlfriend. "Ok, I'll be yours" I said with a huge smile, which caused Shane to smile even wider. I was just about to kiss him again when Carl came running over. "Dads back!" Shane and I both looked at eachother and run over. I see both my dad and Daryl but no Sophia. "We will set up a search party tomorrow" dad said walking away. I walked back to the truck since we will be sleeping in cars tonight, and I also wanted to get away from Carols cries, I can only imagine what she's feeling right now. I jumped up into the truck, leaned back and fell right asleep. Sometime in the middle of the night Shane came into the truck and put another blanket on me and also went to sleep in the passenger side of the truck, and I only know this because of his loud snores, gosh. Do all guys snore like this? Jeez, I chuckled to myself actually feeling safer hearing his snores even though they are super annoying. I wanted to try something hoping it wouldn't wake Shane so I crawled into the seat he's in, it's a tight fit but it's the best I can do to cuddling in a truck. Shane went tense as he felt me lay against him but instantly relaxed and wrapped his arms around me readjusting himself so we both can be more comfortable. I smiled to myself as I can take in a deep smell of Shane, as it puts me right back to sleep.
