Ch. 10 - Lies

Jungkook's P.O.V. 

For Jungkook, hours felt like a lifetime, and waiting for (Y/N) to come out of the Operating room felt like at least twelve lifetimes. His body was shaking, his face stained from crying. He refused to eat as he waited. 

After waiting for so long, a doctor finally came out. He was the first one to run up to the doctor. 

"Is (Y/N) okay? What happened ? How is he?" Jungkook spoke desperately 

The Doctor smile softly "He is stable now, we are not one hundred percent sure how it happened, but he was found on the side of the road not long after being hit by a sixteen wheeler" The doctor said softly "He is being transferred to his room, you should be able to visit him soon" The doctor added before heading past Jungkook to tall to (Y/N)'s parents. 

Jungkook let out a sigh of relief as he walked back down to sit down. As he waited his phone started to ring, he let out a groan as he picked it up.

"Yes, mom?" Jungkook asked annoyed 

"Come home and shower really quick, your dad is waiting for you" She explained. 

"Okay.." Jungkook groaned before hanging up and leaving the hospital for a bit. 

After about an hour or so, Jungkook made it back to the hospital, rushing to the nurse at the front office. 

"Hi, I'm looking for (Y/N)'s room" Jungkook asked in a rush 

"Oh yes, he is in room 534" She said softly 

"Thank you !" Jungkook smiled as he rushed to the gift store, buying a bouquet of roses, chocolates, a teddy bear, and a balloon saying 'I Love You' 

He slowly walked into the room to see (Y/N) laying on his bed. Only the sound of the machine echoing through the room. He felt so guilty once more. 

"I'm sorry" Jungkook said softly as he looked down, tears beginning to form in his eyes once more. He slowly walked towards the side of the bed. He placed the teddy bear on (Y/N)'s chest, the ballon and the flowers next to the bed along with the chocolate. 

Seeing (Y/N) covered in scratches, and stitches was heartbreaking for Jungkook. He took a deep breath before grabbing a chair, pulling it next to (Y/N)'s bed, and resting his head on the edge of the bed, slowly falling asleep. 

A week later... 

Jungkook had been visiting (Y/N) everyday religiously. He had refused to tell his bandmates why he wasn't practicing, or spending any time with them, specially Taehyung, now that they were in bad terms since the fight they had over (Y/N).

It was morning time, and as usual Jungkook woke up extra early, and headed towards the hospital. As he made it to gift shop he decided to buy more gifts for (Y/N). As he made into the hallway in which (Y/N)'s room was in, he saw a couple nurses leaving the room, which to him was weird. 

He rushed into the room only to see (Y/N) sitting up, and looking out the window. 

"You are up" Jungkook said in shock, tears in his eyes, but this time from happiness. 

(Y/N) was startled since he hadn't seen anyone in his room since the nurses. "Um... who are you ?" (Y/N) asked confused

Jungkook froze at the question, he couldn't remember anything, or at least that's what it seemed like. "Do you not remember me?" Jungkook asked carefully 

(Y/N) shook his head "I don't even remember my parents, or if i even have any" (Y/N) said softly 

Jungkook felt bad, really bad.... but then he had an idea. He could make (Y/N) fall in love with him since those horrible memories of the past were gone. 

"I'm your fiancee" Jungkook lied "We've been engaged for about a month" He continued to lie "We've been dating since high school, you were my first boyfriend, and i was yours" Jungkook continued with his facade 

"We were having a meeting with your parents, you said you were going out to walk my dog, but we didn't hear from you for hours, and I found your unconcious body and brought you here" Jungkook started to cry "I thought I lost you" He slowly walked closer towards the boy. 

(Y/N) seem to believe everything that was coming out of Jungkook's mouth since he was crying, and he saw the ring on Jungkook's finger 

"Thanks for saving me" (Y/N) said softly as he looked at the older 

"Anything for you my love" Jungkook said smiling as he leaned closer and kissed (Y/N).
