Overworked

Shiria's POV

"Shiria, are you feeling okay?" Neon asked

I am in her room right now, searching something on her computer

"Yeah, why?" I replied

"Well, you've been working yourself out lately. How about you go with Kurapika?" She said

"Kurapika? Why? Is he going anywhere?" I asked looking away from the computer and looked at her

"He didn't tell you? He asked permission to take a day off tomorrow" She said

"Eh? Why?" I asked her

"He is going to meet up with his friends, and since you are his girlfriend...isn't it formal if he introduces you to them?" Neon stated

"Maybe, but if he doesn't want to or maybe he is not ready, i respect his dicision because i am his girlfriend" I said looking back to the computer

"You're such an understanding girlfriend Shiria" She stated

"Thanks, i just want our relationship to last long" I said and stood up from the chair i was sitting on and headed to the door

"I'm gonna go get something to eat" I said as i walked out of her room going to the kitchen

As i got there, i straightly opened the refrigerator to see a gallon of strawberry fresh milk and a bread and also a jam. I took the three and placed it on the table, i took a glass and poured the milk into it. I spread some of the jam on the bread and started eating

"Hungry?" I heard a familiar voice

"Yeah, i haven't ate since this morning" I said to the blonde haired male

"You haven't? Shiria, you're gonna get sick because of that" Kurapika said as he cupped my face

"I-i'm fine, you don't need to worry" I said to him as i continued eating

"Of course i would worry, Shiria, you're my girlfriend and as your boyfriend i have to make sure you're alright" He stated making me go blush in an instant

"Oh right, Neon said you're gonna take tomorrow a day off, mind explaining?" I stated which made him sigh

"I'm gonna meet up with my friends, and also to take a break from work i guess" He said

"Oh, at least you get to have a day off" I mumbled

"E-eh? W-well....why don't you go with me?" He suggested as i almost choked from the bread

"G-go with you?"

"Yeah, didn't you say you wanted to meet my friends?" He asked

"W-well, yeah...but...are you okay with that though?" I said feeling him stiffen

"Why wouldn't i be okay with it? Shiria, i'm more than okay with that. You're my girlfriend and you deserve to know who i befriended" He said as i immediately blush

"Okay...do you plan on staying for the night with them?" I asked as he smiled

"Yeah, you should pack your pyjama though" He said

"What about you?" I asked being the concerned girlfriend i am

"Don't worry, i got it covered. Continue eating, i don't want you to starve to death" He said as he hugged me

"I'm not gonna die, infact i am not hungry anymore" I stated hugging him back

"I'm just concerned about your health" He said as i chuckled

"You're so sweet Kurapika, but you should think about your health first than mine" I stated as he smiled sweetly

"You're much more important to me" He said as we both cuddled each other
