It had been quite sometime since Freddy and his family were attacked by Shadow Toy Bonnie, who revealed that he was Bonnie and Chica's father's shadow. He also revealed that he was the one who had caused problems for them. He turned Golden Freddy's brother into a monster and sent the nightmare androids after them to force Marionette to reveal that she and Golden Freddy were Freddy's parents, but the most shocking thing Shadow Toy Bonnie revealed was a prophecy about a great shadow that would release the shadow army and world the world. Freddy and the other had since kept their guards up and even though Shadow Toy Bonnie hadn't caused any trouble for them, they continued to be vigilant.
It had been awkward for Bonnie and Chica to talk to each other since they spent their whole life as friends and not siblings. Marionette tried to understand what Shadow Toy Bonnie's prophecy was and Freddy kept waiting for Shadow Toy Bonnie to come back so he could pay for the trouble he gave them.
