Things I did as a kid

Yosemite #1

I camped in Yosemite many, many times in my life. It's one of my favorite places in the world. One time we went tent camping there and it snowed a few inches. It was evening and we had to get a fire started so we can eat and warm ourselves up. We went to the fireplace which was right under a pine tree. All the wood and dirt was wet which did not help us at all but that's not all of it. The tree kept throwing snow at us when we're trying to start the fire. My parents were annoyed and so was I. I can't let us get bested by a tree! Were cold and hungry and will not let you ruin our chances of warmness!! I got up, made a snowball and with all my might, threw it at the trees trunk!

"Ha! That's what you get tree!" I yelled watching the snowball stick to the tree.

The tree fought back.

It threw wet snow directly into the fireplace.

The tree won the snowball fight.
