"No. No. No. No. No." Tae's last 'no' much more strained than the others as he lunged across the bed for her foot and she screamed loudly. "I don't wanna!" Yn shouted trying to crawl away across the bed with little success as Tae still had a hold on her ankle. "Baby girl, you have to get dressed or we'll be late!" His voice gaining a loud whiny tone as he fought with the three year old ready to throw a tantrum on the bed.
"What on earth are you doing to my little bunny?" Jungkook asked slightly confused as he walked through the doorway to the room, his eyebrows furrowing and a look of concern at the comical freeze frame in front of him.
Yn mid crawl and tantrum across the bed, Tae still holding her ankle as they both looked at him a little shocked, like they'd forgotten he was in the house for a brief moment.
"Just...tryin' to get our child dressed.." Tae muttered as he gave a quick tug rendering Yn helpless as she was pulled towards him, she wasn't impressed and grabbed the tidy pile of clothes beside her, throwing them at his face.
As soon as the clothes came for his face he instantly let go and Yn took her moment of freedom and darted across the bed, heading for the door, totally forgetting about Jungkook by the door. She ran full pelt into his legs and landed with an bump on her bum. "What are you playing at bunny." He laughed picking her up as Tae walked over with the clothes in his hand. "Just remind me why exactly it was we adopted the brattiest girl we could find?" Tae said as he poked Yn's ribs making her laugh in Jungkook's arms. "Aish. Because she's cute right?" Jungkook's voice full of joy as he walked out the room with Yn's clothes in his spare hand. "Well, yeah. That's why she gets away with everything." Tae muttered sticking his tongue out at Yn as she scrunched her nose up at him over Jungkook's shoulder making him chuckle.
As the trio made it to the bottom of the stairs Tae walked off towards the kitchen to make Yn's breakfast while Jungkook tackled getting her dressed for play school. "So you'll have fun today right? I mean it is water tray wednesday after all.." Jungkook said as he pulled her tshirt over her head and watched her face light up. "Water tray wednesday?!" She gasped and dramatically placed her hands on her cheeks and he laughed. "You got it bunny. So you gotta get there on time right?" His plan was working, all of a sudden their little girl was more than eager to get dressed.
He zipped up her little hoodie with bear ears on the hood and watched her toddle off quickly to the kitchen, her chubby fists by her side as she followed her nose to the smell of other papa cooking something yummy and Jungkook sighed. "I haven't even finished..." He muttered with the hairbrush in his hand as she ran off, led by her stomach.
As Yn rounded the corner she ran up to Taehyung cooking and tugged on the bottom of his jumper. "Papa?" Taehyung looked down to see his little girl grinning at him, chubby hands clutching the hem of his jumper, fully dressed, hair looking like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards, chunky cheeks forming a happy smile.
"JUNGKOOK? WHY DOES MY BABY GIRL LOOK LIKE A SCARECROW?!" "BECAUSE SHE RAN OFF!" He called back from the front room. "WELL COME GET HER AND FINISH GETTING HER READY!" "YOU BRING HER BACK, I'M SORTING HER BAG!" "YOU SAID YOU'D GET HER READY!" "WELL I GOT FURTHER THAN YOU!" Jungkook retaliated, laughter evident in his voice at his dig. "Well..he's right there Yn." Tae grumbled as he brushed her wild hair away from her face and picked her up, using one had to serve their breakfast.
After they'd all eaten breakfast happily together, like the happy little trio they were it was time to drop Yn off a playschool. Jungkook had Yn perched on his right hip, his arm keeping her steady while Tae held his other hand. They entered her classroom and Jungkook shifted her onto his left hip as he kissed her cheek at the same time as Tae, squishing her chubby face between them. "Have a good day baby girl. We'll miss you lots." "Enjoy water tray wednesday." Jungkook chuckled as he placed her on the floor and she happily toddled off into the room to play with the other children without so much as glancing back, but they both waved her off together regardless before smiling at each other, and leaving with a nod to the teachers.
"I wonder what trouble she'll cause today." Tae smirked on his way out and Jungkook laughed. "Well, she's ours so...the teachers will definitely have something to tell us no doubt.."
