SHAWN and I were waiting for Cory by our lockers.

"Y/n? What's going to happen to us when we grow up?" Shawn asked me.

"I-I don't know, Shawn," I answered the question honestly.

"What if we end up not together? What if everything goes terribly wrong? What if you fall for another guy? What if we-" I interrupted him by cupping his face and kissing him.

"Oh. I like that. I needed that. Do it again," he told me as I laughed, cupped his face and kissed him again.

"OH MY GOD!" Cory exclaimed.

"I MISS SCHOOL AND YOU TWO GET TOGETHER? YOU DIDN'T EVEN WAIT FOR ME! HOW RUDE?" Cory yelled.

"Hush, Cor," I told the boy.

"I haven't even asked her out yet," Shawn informed Cory.

"Oh, so you waited for me?" Cory asked.

"Yeah," Shawn told him.

"WELL, WHY THE HECK DID YOU WAIT?" Cory asked making Shawn and I confused.

"Um... We wanted you to be apart of it because we know you would have been mad if we didn't wait?" I told him in the form of a question as Shawn nodded his head rapidly in agreement.

"Aww, man. I love you, guys," Cory said getting between us and putting his arms around us, walking us to class.

"We love ya too, Cor," Shawn said as he removed Cory's arms from my shoulders and his shoulders so he could put his arms around me.

It was art, fourth period. Shawn sat next to me and Cory sat behind us.

"Alright, class. Today, I want you to paint anything on your canvases. Anything at all. It can be how you feel. It can be words. It can be really anything as long as it has beautiful results," Mrs. Engle told us.

Shawn quickly went up to her and whispered something in her ear. She glanced over at me and quickly looked away.
"Oh my! That would be beautiful Mr. Hunter!" She quietly exclaimed.

"Shh!" Shawn jokingly shushed her as she laughed and he went back to his seat.

"What was that about?" I asked him.

"Just wait, okay?"

"Okay."

"And don't look at my canvas yet," Shawn told me.

"Okay?"

Knowing I was going to glance, Shawn switched seats with Cory.

"Hey, Cor," I spoke to the broccoli boy.

"Hi, y/n."

"What's Shawn doing?" I asked him.

"Painting. I don't know what he's painting," Cory told me.
