Can I just say that Sanemi is one of my favs ( along with everybody else )

It was one of those days where Oyakata-sama has sent you and Sanemi on a mission.

"Sanemi" you called out at the two of you ran making him look at you

"I have a plan, when we get to the village I'll ask around see what information I can get whilst you look around the village is that ok with you?" you asked praying inside your head that he doesn't scream or shout

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO GODDAMN WOMAN!!" he shouted back 'here I am praying he didn't shout as a response'

"I'm gonna take that as a yes then" you said mostly to yourself but Sanemi still managed to hear what you said.

~ It's A Time Skip Yay ~

After a couple of hours of your arrival at the village you had managed to get the information you needed for the villages about what's been happening and was down on the search for the angered wind pillar.

"Sanemi" you shouted as you spotted him in the distance near a ramen shop

"Tsk, what?" he questioned looking very irritated

"I got the information we need for later on, how about we take a small break and get something to eat?" you asked and started to slowly make your way towards the ramen shop ( a/n : ramen is amazing I went to the shop and bought eight packets the other day just so I knew I had some in it's sad but that's my life )

"Fine" he grumbled and followed you inside but what surprised you the most was how he didn't complain about it

"Please may I have ( fav food ) and some ohagi" you asked the man as the two of you sat down

"So listen to this apparently this demon has been taking young children and almost every night, some parents even say that their new borns have been taken away by the demon" you told the information you had been given to Sanemi as you started to eat the food you had ordered Sanemi doing the same

"Sick bastard" he said and didn't speak after that making you worry a bit cause this wasn't Sanemi

"Hey Sanemi, you alright?" you asking looking at the male across from you

"I'm fine what do you mean!!" He snapped 'he's back' you thought

~ Time Skip ~

"How about we spilt up to make life easier?" You said and watched as he nodded his head and ran off

"Strange wonder what's wrong with him" you muttered to yourself but did the same actions as him and ran off

After running for maybe three minutes you felt and aura and you guessed that it was the demons because it had a strange vibe to it.

Without even thinking you withdrew your sword and dashed towards the demon slicing off its arm

"You won't be taking any more children, not over my dead body" you said as you pointed your sword at it

"Oh really now ... well then I guess I'll have to cut you down" the demon said and started to laugh like a maniac

Whilst laughing the demon lunged at you but you quickly dodged and swung your sword only to notice that the demon had disappeared 'could this be its demon blood arts?' you questioned inside your head but felt that same aura behind you and turned around to slice off its other arm

"Ooo, what a good little demon slayer you are" it said in a creepy voice and disappeared again only to then reappear above you and managed to scrape your shoulder

"I'll let you in on a little secret of mine, I'm able to sense auras meaning that I can sense yours not to mention I can now see it" you told the creepy demon and got into a stance

"Breath of the star, First Form : Blazing Stars Rage!" you shouted and before you knew it your sword had already sliced through the demons head

"You are good aren't you but let me tell you a little secret of mine, you see that little scrape of yours on your shoulder well my dear you now have poison running through your veins making its way round your entire body hehe" it said then fully vanished

"Son of a bitch" you mumbled and you could now only just feel the poison start to work

"I should have been more careful, how could I have been so stupid" you continued as your knees buckled underneath you

"Sanemi ... I'm s..sorry" you said as your world went black

~~ We Going Over To Sanemi ~~

After Sanemi ran off he couldn't help but think of this strange feeling he had in his chest.

Every time he saw you his face would heat up but he would try his best to control it because he can control his muscles.

After a while Sanemi only ran into one demon and easily defeated it so went searching for you but was surprised to see you on the floor passed out and didn't think twice about running towards you and dropping onto his knees lifting you up so that he cradled you in his arms

"Y/N!!" He shouted checking for a pulse and was happy to know find one but wasn't that happy about how weak it was.

Sanemi checked over your body and found no major wounds apart from the scrape on your shoulder and lifted one of his to touch your forehead and felt how hot it is

"Your burning up!!" He said to himself and stood up making sure to be careful with you when lifting you up to carry you bridal style

"I've got to get you to the butterfly estate and fast, I can't lose another person I love to a demon" he mumbled and didn't even bother thinking about what he said and he ran as fast as his legs would take him to get you healed
