things between you and butters had been.. different... recently, who would have thought the 'cute and sweet couple' in school would have problems ? most people when they have problems in a relationship try and fix the problem or just end the relationship for good— but you and butters just ignored the 'problem' that had been happening in your relationship.
what was the problem exactly ? well butters had been... distant... recently, cancelling plans, not replying to your texts, etc, but when you confronted him in person about it he would just say the same thing,
" oh, i was grounded "
which you stupidly believed since the blonde boy did get grounded a lot by his father, but using it as an excuse every time was, strange

the word 'read' was making you slightly insane, the number increase didn't help either. you understood that butters couldn't answer every single text you send, you aren't exactly 'clingy', but it just ticked you off that mostly every message you send he just ignores.. like if he didn't want to text you then couldn't he just tell you ? but the fact that he keeps avoiding you in public doesn't help either..
most girls would probably just leave the situation, probably move on and just split up with their partner.. but not y/n, yes the pain of her own boyfriend ignoring her for no reason was horrible, but she was just so curious on why she was getting ignored, she hadn't done anything to butters, so why was he ignoring her so much ??
the girl ran a hand threw her h/c locks, she looked back over to the now dark screened phone and sighed, she slowly stumbled to her bed and picked the device up. she turned it back on since not touching the screen for awhile made the phone automatically switch off, she looked at her delivered message with—

—under it, it made the s/c girl even more upset, an other sigh escaped her lips as she stared at the screen. her right eye then wandered to her bedroom window, she noticed that butters' bedroom lights were on, but his blinds were shut, so he's definitely not sleeping.. and if he was grounded his dad would of taken his phone of him by now, i guess having your bedroom window looking onto someone else's came in handy, especially if that someone is your boyfriend.
y/n fully turned herself around as she turned her phone off, she just started his his bedroom window trying to come up with a reason why he was ignoring her, she just wanted to see in, make sure he was okay ya know ? in what feels like a blink of an eye she was already outside the stotch residence, phone clutched in her left hand and her right hand ready to knock on the door.. she hesitated at first but quickly knocked, a few seconds passed and no one came to the door, not even a sound was heard— so she decided to just enter herself since her curiosity was getting the best of her.
as she entered her boyfriends house she came to the realisation that his parents must not be home, but she was one hundred percent sure butters was home. the h/c haired girl made her way up the stairs to her blonde companions bedroom door, she could hear muffled music coming from the inside, it wasn't like butters to blast music.
the female went to grab the doorknob but a tsunami of anxiety came over her, is this really a good idea ? what if butters gets mad for entering his house randomly without permission ?, but turns out her curiosity was stronger than her anxious thoughts as her hand was already on the door knob, she took a shaky deep breath and closed her eyes, she slowly opened her boyfriends door,
" hey i know it's weird that i just randomly came in, i just want to make sure youre okay— "
the girl opened her eyes and her jaw dropped to the floor, she looked at her boyfriend and the brunette girl straddling him with wide eyes,
" i- w-w-hat ? "
the poor girl couldn't even string out a sentence. it wasn't long until butters noticed her there, him noticing her chased him to scream and push the girl off him,
" oh geez y/n ! w-what are you doing here ?! "
the s/c girl couldn't say anything, her heart had just been ripped out of her chest and it was now lying on her cheating boyfriends floor.
" so this is what youre doing when you leave me on read .. "
she finally said something, that sentence making the blonde boy start fidgeting his fingers, he couldn't even give the h/c girl eye contact,

him saying that caused him to get a 'really' look of the heartbroken girl,
