⤚ The Escaping of Kitsune Twins ⤙
Araya
WHEN the elevator opened we were quick to the door as Raiden looked around surveying the area as he kept his hand tight on the blade eyes peeled looking for any sort of thing that may end up being a threat to us.
He was quick in the manner of identifying the threat as he took the keys out before ushering us outside. We went out the backdoor. "Which one?" Akiya asked. "I don't know, it's one of them though." Raiden spoke as he grabbed the keys. And as he went to hit unlock the window above us shattered.
And then the head of the female wendigo was tossed out and then the decapitated body as a scream left my lips unwillingly. Akiya was quick to my side just as the ghoul tossed itself out of the window before landing upon the deceased body of the wendigo.
It bared teeth at us. And then slowly approached us. On all fours before Raiden caught in front of us katana bared and ready to slice into the ghoul. It rose to all fours baring its teeth as a sign to move and give in. To be easy prey for the taking.
The thought of being prey to this had my stomach turning and ready to cry. Yet this heat began to form in my hand as Akiya watched unsure. Raiden was silent as he refused to move. The ghoul bared its claws. "Come on you rotten bitch." Raiden snarled at it.
And then the ghoul lunged tossing it's rotten body through the air. The ripe smell of rotting flesh becoming stronger. It's body with flesh torn off by the wendigo and the rot that took place flying in the air. Raide readied his katana to slice into it to protect us.
But he never got the chance to.
A large blur of dark colors slammed into the ghoul sending it flying across the ground and rolling before it recovered itself. The blur shook itself ears pinned back as gold eyes flickered to us. They perked up just a bit before pinning back.
None of us had gotten a real good close look at Storm's wolf; well save for maybe Raiden. We were always busy, typically trying not to become her chew toy as her aggression was directed at us. And the time she attacked the nogitsunes she was submerged in shadows, but not now.
Storm's wolf form was massive, easily going up to at least my chest area. And heavy, but muscles lined through the large form flexing with each movement that she made. Lining through the thick fur that covered her both in beauty as well as no doubt to protect sensitive skin beneath.
Her fur was a blend of black and brown with done in wolf bands with bits of silver ringed through. Despite her aggressive nature she had a calm face before it curled up into a savage snarl as she snarled at the ghoul in a contest daring it to come forth.
I never thought the time Storm's wolf would fight for us would come. Storm hadn't been very physical in fights unless it was with Akiya's bullies. And they went down easy. And it made sense on why she wasn't keen on fighting nor using her werewolf abilities she was gifted with.
The wolf within her was deadly and ripped with muscles. The wolf in front of us was something she fought on a daily basis. Something I knew I could never fight. Our spirits were flaming things around us, but this was a literal wolf whom ripped out of Storm.
All I could do was watch as Storm bared large canines dripped in salvia at the ghoul. The ghoul roared at Storm hoping to make her back down. But she didn't simply raised herself up hackles going on end to make her form look much bigger than it happened to be.
An intimidation factor. And so the ghoul lunged.
The cement caved under her claws leaving marks as she lunged off at the ghoul as the two slammed into each other. Raiden lowered the katana as the ghoul whipped Storm away before lunging at us once more. But Storm grabbed it's arm and ripped on it.
