You and Niall were sat in a hotel room, leaning against the headboard of the king sized bed you were sharing when the alarm clock on the bedside table turned to 04:00AM.
"Wanna' pull an all nighter?" Niall asked with a grin, taking another sip from his can of soda.
"Hmm okay. Were gonna' be exhausted tomorrow though," you replied hesitantly with a small giggle escaping you as you reached for your glass of water.
"Oh well! L.A's prettier at night anyway," Niall chuckled, reaching for the TV remote.
"Let me guess, you wanna' watch a rom-com?" He assumed with a smile, turning his body to face the large TV screen that was mounted on the wall.
"You know me too well Horan," you laughed, pecking Niall's cheek softly before pulling the bed covers over your lap.
Niall scrolled through Netflix for the next few minutes before settling on a movie that the two of you must've watched a million times by now but still loved. As the first few scenes began to play, Niall lay flat on his back with an arm wrapped around your waist and your head resting comfortably on his chest. As the plot of the movie continued, you couldn't help but focus on the gentle rhythm of Niall's heartbeat as his chest moved up and down softly with every breath.
"I could fall asleep right now," you yawned with a small giggle, placing a hand over Niall's stomach as you buried yourself deeper into his side.
"Don't you dare leave me alone to watch all these comedies and eat all these snacks," he
laughed, determined to keep you awake.
Suddenly, Niall slid out from underneath you and plugged his phone into a set of small speakers before playing his Spotify playlist.
"C'mere!" He said enthusiastically, pulling you off the bed and into his grasp so that the two of you could dance together.
Excitedly, you jumped around to the upbeat Ed Sheeran music, your arms flying around in the air whilst your bodies swayed to the beat. You both laughed hysterically as you watched one another flail about to the songs, looking like you didn't know your lefts from rights.
"We look ridiculous," Niall beamed, taking your hand to spin you around in a circle.
Your hair flowing freely as you moved, you began to sing the words to the song whilst Niall swung you around the room, leading you around the open space.
Both of you danced around the hotel room frantically before settling down to sit near the window and watch as the sun raised in the sky. You placed your hand on the clear glass as the rays of light broke into the spacious room.
"We should do this more often," Niall grinned as he looked out over the beautiful city, watching as the streets gradually began to fill with people.
"Yeah, but not unless we're prepared to be absolutely exhausted the next day," you chuckled, looking into Niall's ocean blue eyes as he let out a small yawn.
