Chapter 1: New school, New me, New start

I wake up to Caleb, my brother on top of me. he's fully transformed right now and he smells. "Take. a. shower." I say and he growls, then trots away. I get up and take a shower. when I finish I comb my hair and place my chew toy in my mouth. I have it to bite on so I don't ruin anything. I take my straightener and do my hair. after I apply red lipstick, silver and black makeup, mascara, eyeliner and some blush. I brush my teeth and apply lipgloss. I take my nail filer and file them to a sharp point and grin. I slip on motorcycle gloves and my leather jacket. "Beatrice, honey?" my mom calls and I put on a old necklace. "here mom!" I call back and she opens the door and she takes one look at my outfit. "you look goth." my mother states and I shrug. she sighs and I leave to school on my motorcycle.

I go inside the school and see a group of vampires glaring at me. They call themselves 'The vamps' I grin at them and get closer. "what do you want?" A girl says, and I roll my eyes. "why were you staring at me?" One boy laughed, "Fuck off." I shake my head, the girl looked at him. "Shall we, Jackson?" Jackson nods, "we shall Lauren." lauren lunged and pinned me to the lockers and I growled. Jackson hissed in my face and a crowd started to form. "get off me!" I bark and Lauren laughed, "sorry can't." she took me and slammed me against the lockers. I winced and blood ran down from my neck. "TRIS!" My best friend Christina shouted. "Chris, get will!" I bark she nods and scrambles to find him. "aww is will your boyfriend?" she asks really loud. "No, you bitch, he isn't." I growl and every laughs. Jackson punches me in the face and I kick him in the groin. I see Will and Christina sprinting at full speed. Duck, I hear Chris say in my head. I move and Chris transforms and knocks Lauren down. Will goes for Jackson and Shauna our female leader, hugged me. "thank god, your okay." she pauses, "sort of.." I chuckle and she touches my cut. I whimper and she apologizes. a boy comes and looks at me. "you okay?" he sounds like a vampire and smells a lot like one. "Four!" a vampire calls, peter. "what?"
"Why in the damn world are you talking to a wolf?!" he asks, "get back here!" I start to look up and see vampire fangs, the boy snorts. "Fuck off man!" Shauna finishes bandaging my cut and she growls. "go away V-" I feel her shaking and I look up. he has the smell, voice, and fangs of a vampire but the eyes, ears, and everything else of a wolf. "Y-You're-" The boy, four I believe chuckles. "The fantabulous Four?" I giggle and Shauna nods. "FOUR COME NOW!" Four whimpers just a little at a man big brawny yelling. I touch his arm, "it's okay." Shauna looks at will and Christina who are confused. "Will go and inform the Vampires that he will be with us and If those bastards want him to get him." Will runs off and Chris comes closer. "Chris, get Sapphire please." she runs off and we take four with us. "are you okay, seriously though." four says and I roll my eyes. "yes, blood boy I'm fine." Four pouts, and I laugh. "I'm not all vampire!" he whines. "I feed like a wolf for you In-Fo-mation!" and I crack up. I nod and he comes into our den, Sapphire comes running with Chris. "what's a Vampire doing here?" Mikie, shauna's boyfriend asks. four looks up and everyone gasps. "OMG ITS FOUR THE VAMPIRE-WEREWOLF!" sapphire screeches and we all cover our ears. "and that ladies and gentlemen is my 4 year old sister." I say and lead four to my room. He stands by my bed, and I laugh. "Sit, Four!" I command pointing and he almost immediately sits. "curse my wolf instinct." he mutters and I lift a finger. "technically it isn't a wolf instinct otherwise you would've listened to peter, it's actually just a wolf hereditary." four chuckles and stares at me. "well, smartass I skip classes for a reason." I slap his arm and he whimpers at me. "shut up." I retort trying not to laugh. I toss him a biscuit and he jumps and catches it like a trained dog. he sits and eats in with his mouth and palms and I see him slowly transforming. I smile and next to him curling up. When he finishes he looks at me with his adorable blue eyes and smirks. he runs to my tiny shed and I follow trying to keep up. he runs in and comes out with my Favorite chew toy in his mouth. he gets on all fours and I copy him. we battle to get it and laugh. I run with it in my mouth, and chuckle. he lunges and tackles me down, I bark cheerfully and he laughs, toy in mouth. I see Caleb stop in his tracks, shit, I think. "why do I smell vampire mixed with werewolf?" he asks and four whimpers and drops the toy. Caleb is next in line for leader and four looks afraid. "Caleb it's just Four, you know the werewolf vampire." I tell him and he nods then points at four, "you!" he almost barks, "you be nice to my sister." he takes of and I carefully approach four. I nudge his neck with my nose and he chuckles looking at me. he leans closer and softly kisses me. I feel electricity course through me and I wrap my arms around his neck. he kisses me harder, and I sigh. I feel his muscular arms wrap around my waist, "Tris?" I pull away and rest my head on his chest and see Max and Zeke here. Crap Zeke is part of the vampires. "Hey max!" I say, I've known max my whole life and I feel Four tense. little does he know max is gay. "FOUR WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A SNOTTY WOLF?" Zeke shouts and I whimper, tears gather in my eyes and Zeke bites his lip. "Shut up, I can do what I want." Four says calmly, and Max growls. "Max, calm down, he didn't hurt me now did he?" Max shakes his head and steps back. "Your a slut," Zeke says and then looks at four. "I bet you don't love her four, vampires CANT love werewolves." fours heart pounds and he pulls me closer. I start to cry and four kisses my forehead. "I love her with all my heart." four says calmly then his voice automatically rises. "and if you don't shut up I will kill you and switch!" I step back out of his arms and he looks hurt. "four it's okay she is only afraid." He tries to come closer at max's comment but I step back and eye all the things he can hurt me with. "Tris, calm down you will have another seizure or something." will calls coming closer, "your hearts pounding!" Chris yells coming. My head spins and I start to lose balance. "CHRIS MEDICINE NOW!" Max barks and Chris sprints away. she comes back with a needle and sticks it in my neck. "Aw does someone have Medoplasmia?" Zeke coos teasingly. Medoplasmia is a disease that only wolves can get and it damages parts of the body. like cancer except if isn't as deadly. I sob and collaspe, well I would have if Four didn't catch me. he scooped me up and glared at zeke. "Fuck off will ya, shes amazing, and Medoplasmia or not I will love her just the same!" he says but this time not so loudly. I curl into his chest and cry. "Tris don't do it!" will shouts, I howl, louder than ever. "Damn it tris!" Chris yells, Will smacks his forehead. "Chris I hold them off go and help four and tris!" four and Chris start running and I howl again. "Tris shut up!" Chris yells, and I whimper. after a while i feel a cut on my leg and it stings. I howl twice but four cuts me off with a kiss. Chris guides four and he keeps his lips on mine so I can't howl anymore. I hear a door open and four pulls away just a little. "I hope they didn't follow-" I feel the pain again. "AHOOOO!" I howl and Chris swears four lays me down and kisses me, hard. Chris sprays something on the cut and I howl but it's muffled my fours mouth. when Chris finishes four touches my stomach and grins. "where are we? where's will? where's-" Chris cuts me off with a laugh. "Max is outside guarding with Shauna and Mikie." Chris says and four kisses my nose, my nose scrunched up and he smiles. "Will and the others are holding them up, gathering valuables and will meet us here." four says and I touch my forehead. "who's 'them'?" Chris sits on a counter. "those who don't like four and/or you two together." I nod and put my arms up. "Bed!" I whine like a two year old. "sleep with her, I don't like the idea of her being alone." four nods and picks me up closing the bedroom door behind him.
