A: "wake up!" was the last thing I heard before I felt a tiny body jump on mine.

J: "ow Meerah" grabbing her before her knee went in my stomach.

A: "why on couch?" Looking at me questionably. "Daddy not here?"

M: "I am monkey just went to get breakfast"

A: "dadddyyy! I missed you" she said running over to hug him.

M: "I missed you too"

A: "are you gonna be here at night?"

M: "yep and I'm gonna be home all day"

I quickly moved my eyes looking up at him before rolling them and bring them back down to my phone.

A: "mommy stop mean need be happy!"

J: "why should I be happy Meerah?"

A: " cause daddy home all day duh"

J: "ok"

A: "otay get up" she said pushing on my body.

I sat up yawning and stretching in process and Meerah come and sat in lap just to take my phone.

She nodded her head and giggles.

Mike sat Meerah down so she could eat and gave me my food.

M: "we gone talk now?"

M: "I know I don't come home at a reasonable time but the streets don't stop so I can't."

J: "ok and what's stopping you from coming home for a few hours to put Meerah to bed? What are all those people for if they can't cover for you? So you will be coming home for a few hours to give Meerah a bath and put her to bed then I don't care what you wanna do after but be late one time just on and you'll regret it"

J: "don't worry about it just worry about being on time"
