PSA ahead of the chapter: Jordyn is human. She's not perfect and will never will be. I know some of y'all obviously believe the main character can't do wrong but not in my book🤷‍♀️.

"Do you know how long I've been needing this break" I told Amika over the music in the club and she laughed

"I'm glad you happy again"

I smiled and started dancing, moving my hips to the song as somebody grabbed onto my waist and I looked back seeing some guy. He was extremely cute and I'm single so I figured why not, and I started dancing on him

Amika pulled out her phone and started recording us while hyping me up. While I continued to dance on the boy I looked back at him, making eye contact and the minute I saw how he was looking at me I almost melted. Soon I stopped dancing on him and once I finished he pulled me into him and reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone and unlocked it before handing it to me

"Just to letchu know I'm not from around here" I told him over the music as I put my number in and he laughed

"I can tell from yo' accent"

"What accent?"

His laughed then turned into a smirk as he looked down at his phone while I handed it back to him

"I'll hitchu up later.. Jordyn"

"Okay" I smiled "well can I get a name?"

"Chris"

"Alright then, Chris"

He bit his bottom lip while looking at me again before walking off and I smiled before turning to Amika

"He was fine as hell Jodie... that's how you move the fuck on" she told me and I laughed

Hours later

While Amika was in her room of the suite we shared, I was in mine talking to Chris. He hit me up after we left and I invited him over since we didn't have that many days left until we head back home

"I love it out here" I told Chris and he laughed

"It's Ight. It ain all that"

"Of course you would say that. You from here"

"Well let me ask you. What made you wanna come out here? Just to chill?"

"Pretty much. It was a lot going on back in Baton Rouge and I just needed a break"
