Lydia's pov
We had just arrived and I was at the back looking around and eating the chocolate strawberrys (and maybe drinking some of the champagne) so far nothing was happening everyone was getting set up for the plan I sighed getting bored when suddenly I felt a finger trail down my back
I turned seeing Kathrine who was dressed as Elena but beautiful as always Kathrine smirked at me holding out her hand "Dance with me." She ordered and I scoffed "No." I stated sass laced into my response however Kathrine being the one to never give up spoke again "Hm okay then tell me who I should kill first oooh she looks delicious!" I sighed taking a step forward I reached for her hands my arm wrapping around her upper back and my hand holding hers she gave me a look "you know your hands are supposed to be on my waist." I looked over her shoulder catching eyes with Stef who looked worried for me I then looked back at Kathrine "Well every one here thinks were sisters so." She nodded "Hmm fine I'll let it slide this time."
Suddenly a random guy came walking up he whispered in my ear to pretend to go to the bathroom so Kathrine won't come after you so I assumed that he is compelled I looked to Stefan who nodded I then turned to Kathrine "Well thanks for the dance Kat I had fun but I have to go." I released Kathrine and turned walking away to the bathroom I stepped inside and lent against the sink turning it on I sighed until suddenly my phone dinged taking it out i saw i had a message from Stefan

I sighed smiling at Stefans protective nature

I put my phone back in my bra deciding to go hang out with Jeremy and Bonnie I walked out of the bathroom spotting Jer and Bon instantly and I began to walk to them,but a woman bumped into me and I got a weird feeling confused I turned looking at the woman who also had stopped staring at me a shocked look on her face she then muttered something that scared me "Tribrid." I turned around walking away quickly to where Bon and Jer where "Lydia are you okay." Bonnie questioned noticing the look on my face I nodded "Yeah I'm fine." I decided not to tell her what the woman said
Timeskip
I sighed walking beside Elena my arm wrapped around her as she spoke to Jeremy on the phone "Yeah I'm fine I'm already healing plus Lydia's with me...yeah shes fine to okay I'll see you at home bye." I opened my mouth about to say something when I suddenly felt someone's hands on my neck and then pain and then nothing but darkness
I groaned opening my eyes everything was blurry but I felt weird rubbing my eyes I opened them once more blinking them a couple times until the blurriness was gone I looked around seeing nothing but I herd something thumping next to me confused I looked over to see Elena sitting there but I was confused what was the thumping sound and why did it make me a little hungry
I decided to ignore it as best as I could or at least block it out I put my hands on Elena's neck checking for a pulse when I realized something
Holy shit my neck was snapped!!!
I felt my neck wide eyed "What the hell?" I whispered I died I should be dead but here I am alive my thought process was disrupted by a sharp inhale coming from Lena who as soon as she saw me gasped and hugged me well more like crushed me
"Oh my god Lydia how are you alive?!" I shushed her pointing up where I could hear voices before whispering to her "I have no freaking clue I'm freaked out myself."
Elena's eyes widened even more if even possible "Oh god Lydia what if your a vampire?" I swallowed thickly fear shooting through my veins it would explain the thumping sound I could hear coming from Lena's neck and it would also explain why I survived a freaking neck snap!
I looked at lena "Well figure it out later right now we need to leave!" I told Lema who nodded
I stood quietly walking to the stairs I began to walk up them when suddenly I was at the top I turned looking at Lena with a shocked yet excited look "Holy frick did you see that!" I whisper shouted Lena covered her mouth trying not to giggle before following me up the stairs
I then took the lead walking forward I saw a man and a really pretty woman arguing I continued to creep forward trying not to make a sound as I listened in on their convo which went a little something like this "blah blah blah info info info Elijah." I paused as a creak sounded from behind me cringing when the man and woman both turned around

The woman snarled storming right up to us "You!If you think you can get out of here your wrong." I blinked unfazed by her threatening words although I could feel Elena tense up "Sooooo whos Elijah?" I questioned curiously she nodded towards Elena "Her worst nightmare." I rolled my eyes "Good to know."
Time skip
It was all calm and stuff until Trevor busts into the room like the kool-aid man terror written all over his face "He's here!" I looked over at Elena and we both had a silent conversation well argument Elena demanded that she protect me as best as she could seeing as I was getting weaker by the hour
