1st pov
Rose went to discuss something with the mystery person who I'm guessing was Elijah meanwhile both Elena and I watch as Trevor paces around talking to himself a crazed yet fearful look in his eyes
I turned to Elena "Do you think this mystery guy will be hot?" Elena gave me a look and I rolled my eyes "Fine Fine....buzzkill." I muttered giving Elena a innocent smile when she glared at me
I huffed growing tired of Trevor's pacing the sound of his feet hitting the floor was very loud and it was beginning to annoy me plus I was very hungry and very uncomfortable you know that feeling that you get when you leave the beach after swimming and your stuck in a wet bathing suit with sand all over you and your a little bit sunburned and just exhausted? Yeah that's how I felt
I picked my feet up and turned around setting my legs on the back of the couch hanging upside down I closed my eyes doing my best to block everything out " Lena I'm tired." I muttered reaching forward to hold her hand jumping when I made contact with her as I felt a wave of new emotions wash over me I realeased Elena's hand sitting up with wide eyes I stared at Elena who gave me a confused look
"Holy shit!" I stated butterflies stirring up in my tummy before I could explain what happened to Elena footsteps drew my attention to the stair case Elena stood up as Rose and Elijah entered the room his eyes locked on Elena immediately and in a flash he was down the stairs and in front of Lena
He leaned down and I swear he was going to kiss her, but instead he sniffs her neck like a fucking weirdo "Uhhhh have you never heard of personal space my dude?" I blurt out unable to help myself
I swallow as he turns to look at me freezing as soon as our eyes meet I feel like I'm being sucked into one of those weird optical illusions and even though it makes my head hurt I just can't look away
It felt like forever until I finally looked away I groaned leaning forwards I gripped my head as a wave of dizziness hit me and I swallowed trying not to throw up
Ugh this just hasn't been my day
I jumped slightly as I felt a cool hand touch the back of my neck,and what felt like electricity traveled down my spine and I shivered as goosebumps appeared on my skin
I looked up to see Elijah staring down at me a weird look on his face "You really need a hair cut." I regretted the words as soon as they left my mouth
I frowned as Elijah leaned down getting in my personal space I immediately began to try and lean back but his hand on my neck kept me in place
A frown appeared on his face as he looked me in the eyes "Somethings wrong." He muttered staring me down
Elijah leaned forward and sniffed my neck like he did Elena except this time he didn't seem so happy with the outcome
He leans away from my neck looking me in the eyes once again "Your in transition....why?" I swallowed the lump in my throat my eyes instinctively glancing towards Trevor who looked horrified like way more horrified than before which I didnt think was possible
Elijah followed to where I was looking and lemme tell you he.looked.pissed I would so totally hate to be Trevor right now
"Elijah I am so sorry I had no idea she was your mate if I had I wouldn't of hurt her." Trevor was practically on his knees however I couldn't care less using my new found speed I sped over to Elena ignoring her jumping in suprise
"You okay?" I whispered and she nods her eyes on me "What did he mean by mate?" Elena whispers a tremor in her voice which I pretended not to hear
"I dunno." I told her shrugging my shoulders I turn around just in time to see Elijah smack Trevor's head straight off his shoulders "Oh!" I yelped covering my mouth in shock
"Don't Rose...now that you are free." Elijah warns as Rose goes to attack him for killing her friend Rose stills herself small sobs leaving her
I backed up a bit as Elijah turned to me and Elena "Come." He states motioning for us to go with him and I gave him a look that basically screamed are you stupid "No what about the moonstone " Elena questions and I gave her a look "Elena!" I hiss trying to get her to shut up
Elena's question catches Elijah's attention he moves towards Elena,but before he can reach her I move in front of her glaring at Elijah "Mm-mm." I shake my head signaling that I didn't want him any closer
Surprisingly he stopped "What do you two know about the moonstone?" He questions eyeing me however its Elena that answers "I know that you need it and I know where it is." Elijah steps forward "Where is it?"
"It doesn't work like that." Elena states boldly and I close my eyes growling softly in exasperation opening my eyes again I see Elijahs amused expression "And you?" He questions looking at me I shrug shaking my head "Nope I was to busy being dead." Hes eyes soften slighty as he looks at me "I am sorry that happened to you."
I said nothing to confused as to why he was apologizing when Elijah looked back to Elena his gaze hardening once more "Where is the moon stone?" He questions once more, but Elenas expression stays the same "Sorry but like I said it doesn't work that way." Elijas expression is annoyed now "Are we negotiating now?" He questions turning to look at Rose who looks very emotional "Its the first I've heard of it." She states anger lacing her tone
Elijah looks back to me and sighs, and suddenly I was in his grasp as he tries to compel Elena I would try to fight back, but the sudden rush of movement has me dizzy my knees shake slightly, but Elijah holds me up
"What is this vervain doing around your neck?" Elijah questions and he reaches forward, and rips the necklace of her neck I try to pry myself from Elijas grasp as he compels Elena, but I'm to weak signaling that I needed to feed very soon or I would die
But do I even want to complete the transition?
I was startled from my thought process by the sound of glass breaking "What is that?" Elijah questions, and me and Elena trade nervous looks
