I like the cover tho haha. Especially the colour scheme. It really gives the Indian vibe I think. I mean, Miles disagrees, but who cares about Miles.
Unfortunately it wasn't what you had in mind so I got you a redo!
Inspiration & credits So I actually used some old images, so I can't remember where I got them from. The metal texture for the text, swirls and people is from deviantart I think. The vectors from vectorstock? The buildings are the same buildings from delivery #1 haha. I just made it yellow. The colour scheme is inspired by this Indian restaurant Dishoom in London. It's a very good restaurant! Well, I'm not Indian so not really sure about the quality, but I like the food haha.

Miles About the old version Our treadmill-designer has been busy. And again a gold result, with nice vectors and beautiful colours. The outcome is successful, because the colours and shapes complement each other. Yet I think the vibe clashes with the culture and ideas you are trying to portray. I think it's supposed to be Indian, but I wouldn't call the colours you used necessarily Indian. That's why the vibe does not match the actual story behind the cover
[Over de oude versie Onze loopbanddesigner is weer bezig geweest. En weer een goed resultaat, met goeie vectors en mooie kleuren. Ik vind hem geslaagd omdat de kleuren en vormen elkaar complimenten. Wel vind ik dat de vibe niet helemaal overeenkomt met de cultuur en ideeën die je probeert neer te zetten. Volgens mij moet het indiaas zijn, maar de kleuren op de cover zou ik niet zozeer indiase kleuren noemen. Hierdoor clasht de vibe een beetje met het daadwerkelijke verhaal achter de cover.]
About the new version I think the new cover is simpler. You abandoned the Indian mood effect. This causes to change the feel of the book for me. The new cover reminds me of a standard romantic novel. Nothing bad, just a different audience. So instead of a culture focus a genre focus. Personally, I like the culture focus better, but the customer is always right. I think the backround is very cool, like an apocalypse kind of idea. Pretty cool.

De nieuwe cover doet meer denken aan een standaard romantisch verhaal. Geen slecht iets, je bereikt ander publiek. Dus ipv cultuur focus meer een genre focus. Ik was persoonlijk meer fan van de cultuur focus, maar klant is koning. Ik vind de achtergrond heel cool, echt een apocalyptisch idee dat hopelijk geen apocalyptisch idee is buiten mijn hoofd om. May About the old version OK, review: I think the characters on the cover are beautifully drawn, and you can clearly see the theme. The white swirly thingies on the side are weird, but it fits the cover, just like the font. Maybe you could change the pattern on the purple area in a colour? But I like this version too. Not much to say, just that I think it really is a beautiful cover!
Over de oude kaft Oké, recensie: ik vind de personages op de cover mooi getekend, en je ziet ook mooi het thema eruit springen. De witte slingerachtige dingen aan de kanten zijn apart maar passen er wel mooi bij, net als het lettertype van de titel. Misschien had je het patroontje op het paarse oppervlak in een kleur kunnen doen? Maar zo vind ik het ook wel leuk. Ik heb er verder niet zo veel over te zeggen, behalve dat ik het echt een mooie cover vind!
About the new cover I think the newer version is nice, but I'm not a fan of the font of the title, because you can't really read what it says. I do like the colourscheme and the drawn details are a verg nice addition!
Over de nieuwe kaft Ik vind de nieuwe versie mooi, maar ik ben niet zo'n fan van het lettertype van de titel omdat ik niet helemaal kan lezen wat er staat (er staat arohi maar als je dat niet weet dat is het niet zo duidelijk, haha). Verder vind ik het kleurenschema wel prachtig en zijn de getekende details echt een mooie toevoeging.
