It wasn't long after that meeting he had his first meeting with a UA teacher, although in hindsight that wasn't all that surprising. This had been the biggest job he had been given (and from All Might's sidekick too!) since he had started his information 'agency'. Not to mention the first time he had visibly interfered... he couldn't help it though, one glimpse of Eri's desperate tear filled eyes and he found he had no choice but to step in. That was the reason he had decided to do this job, in the end, to help people.

No matter how annoying the consequences were.

He barely restrained the sigh from escaping as he looked across from him to the two UA teachers across from him. He had better things to be doing, this wasn't even for an assignment, because then he could at least be getting paid for this headache. At least he didn't think it was, and since neither were too active since having joined UA (dealing with a class-full of teens was as good excuse as any) so the odds of it actually being a job were fairly low.

"And just like that!!!!I knew what it was! Can you guess!?!?" Deku winced as Present Mic screamed across at him from the couch, arms waving wildly.

"You've told this story already it's not even that good, Present, now if you want to hear a decent story, Deku," Midnight cut in offering a predatory smile, "I know a very good one, but you seem like you know quite a few yourself, care to share one? How did you decide on Deku? It does mean 'can't do anything' right?"

Deku practiced his patient smile again, the thrill of meeting the two heroes near its end after they had spent the past three few hours bickering with each other without ever stopping, he had barely gotten a word in, "That's right, it's a bit of a nickname, a bit of a reminder, but that's enough of this, I'm expecting someone to visit soon, what brings you here today?" He has things to do, no matter what they seemed to think.

"Well, to be honest," Now wasn't that just a blatant lie, "We heard so much about you from Sir Nighteye that Nezu actually wanted to meet you himself to see about you partnering with UA, but you really are as young as he said you were, hmmm, how old are you exactly I'd put you a few years before freshmen year so last year of elementary...?" Aiming younger than he looked just slightly to try and provoke him into giving an exact age, not bad.

"Yeah! You're a little one aren't you?!?!? How long have you been doing this for!??! Are you planning to try for UA?!" A bit amateur, looking at the lease would give them a good guess, or at least a starting point. (And a hero card could get you access to almost anything in this day and age.)

Deku didn't even bother addressing his age, although they had reminded him this would be the year he would have tried out for UA. Now there was a thought he didn't know what to do with. "I haven't quite decided what to do myself, I have done fairly good for myself as it is though."

"I guess?!?!?!?" The open skepticism in Present Mics voice said enough about what they thought about their house, and to be fair the building really didn't look like much. But that was exactly the point.

Midnight responded with the far more tactful comment of, "This place? You could do so much better... say, how about you drop by UA sometime this week? Nezu was busy today, but he really would like to meet you..."

An offer to visit UA, now that would be something his younger self would do almost anything for (and deep down he knew that had changed just about not at all) "I'll consider, but I wouldn't want to bother him."

"Don't worry about it!!!!! Just ask for me or Midnight at the gate and we'll take you right to him!!!!!!!!!"

"Thank you, I really must get going now though."

"We hear ya, see ya later kiddo!!!!!!!!!!"

The two trooped out leaving him alone in the front room of the building.
