I WISH I WAS A STAR
I wish I could be the stars in the night sky
for you to stare at
Even if you can't reach me with your hands
At least you'll admire me for how I shine bright
And tell how beautiful I am in the night.
I wish I could be the brightest star
For you'll cherish me the way I sparkle
into your eyes,
For you'll always be there to stargaze every night
And wish I would fall beside you for you to pick me up.
