after talking to the girls in what seemed like forever they finally ended the call since it was getting a little late

after a while, y/n has changed into much more comfortable clothing and had done her night routine
she eventually was in bed but couldn't sleep, she tried her hardest to close her eyes but failed multiple times, she attempted many sleeping positions but it didn't work
hours passed by and nothing changed, she was still wide awake and no sign of tiredness was shown
she sat up on her bed and checked the time again
2:41 am was flashing in red as she looked at the alarm
she sighed not knowing what to do, this hadn't happened in a long time and when it does she starts to lose brain cells minute by minute
but then all of a sudden she heard something in the hallway outside
a slight crack was heard which didn't bother her until she heard it a couple of more times and then she lost it
she was officially scared
y/n had immediately stopped moving in her bed and held her breath frightened
the footsteps keep getting closer and louder until they stopped right infront of her door
you could see the visible shadow till a knock was heard on the door
she was definitely about to pee her pants until a random boost of confidence took over her body
"okay calm down y/n it's probably nothing" she kept thinking to herself trying to calm down
she slowly got out of the bed and got the nearest weapon she could find
a god damn book
she walked slowly towards the door and was on full-on attack mode waiting, ready for the so-called person to opens the door
the book swung back ready for aim as she slowly took steps near the door
the door slowly creaked open and a little head popped through
"didn't know books were used as weapons these days"
