"shh," yunho said covering her mouth with his finger indicating for her talk quietly
he poked his head into the hallway, looked both ways making sure to stay quiet and then removed his finger gently from her lips
he slowly closed the door behind so he wouldn't disturb the others trying to get sleep since they were probably tired
"what are you doing here," she said standing still looking at him
"i couldn't sleep," he said sighing and fiddling with his fingers
y/n smiles at his little gestures
"and how did you know i was awake," she said crossing her arms with a goofy grin on her face
"i-uh saw you were a-active on snap" he said stuttering trying to find a reason
"wait you have me on snap" she asked confused
"i guess," he said shrugging and scratching his head trying not to make things awkward between them
"oh well what brings you here," she said walking back to the bed and sitting on the edge of it
"i couldn't sleep," he said whining admitting it again
"really i couldn't sleep for hours as well, i don't know what's gotten into me," she said falling back into the bed and letting out a big sigh
yunho walked up to the bed and fell back beside her, now face to face
she rested her elbow on the bed as her hand was resting on her cheek
"what do we do know," she said looking at him bored out of her brain
"i can tell you more about my group with the boys if you want," he said sitting up straight looking at her
"that's one of the best ideas you've probably come up with this year," she said getting excited and sitting up along with him
yunho just playfully rolled his eyes
she knew really little about their group which kinda disappointed her, she kept reminding her self to at least check their songs out but she kept forgetting the cause of something's coming up soon
"wait" he gestured his hand infront of her face
"i'll be right back," he said getting up and running out the door
he quietly opened the door to his room, while the other members were sleeping, got his laptop from the drawer and headed back to y/n's room
tippy-toeing through the hallway he opened the door to her room and shut it behind
he quickly sat down beside her on the bed and opened it, and then immediately shut it gulping
"what why did you shut it" she said pouting and slouching her shoulders
"i-uh" yunho started to shutter
"what bad things were you doing," she said giving him a scolding look with her hands on her hips
"were you watching por-" he cut her off quicker than she could even finish the sentence
"no" he whispered yelled at her telling her the truth
she believed him on that one cause she could never imagine him doing such things but hey
people can change
he sighed "it's just" he didn't finish his sentence cause y/n quickly grasped the laptop out of his hands and opened it without any hesitation
it reviled nothing but his lock screen and a light reflection of her face
"there's nothing here," she said showing him the laptop
"except for this cute picture of you guys" she said giggling as her eyes softened
she took a closer look and awed even more
"you guys look so small," she said pouting looking at all of the 8 smiling boys on the screen plus another young boy but she didn't question about him
"omg look at you," she said smiling pointing at him on the screen and then showing him the picture like he already hasn't seen it for the millionth time
yunho just smiled looking at the screen and then back at the girl who looked as she had seen a big teddy bear
it was actually a picture of all of ateez, including junyoung which was an ex-trainee, they were all smiling, arms wrapped around each other with pure excitement in their eyes, it was a couple of months before there debut
he sighed
"i thought you would make fun of my lock screen," he said admitting it and looking away
she smiled faded away
"why would you think that," she said kinda disappointed
she put the laptop aside and facing him
"it was just that"
"i remember clearly, one day these female trainees came in and i was practicing for some dance gig, they were just standing there watching like normal people but when i went to go pause the song i by accidentally clicked on my lock screen," he said
y/n honestly had no idea where this was going cause who the heck would do something or even say anything about a damn lock screen, which she found extremely cute of
"and some girl that was standing beside me saw it and started laughing like some sick joke," he said giving her a what-the-fuck-look
and oh boy was y/n boiling from the inside, her eyes could tell it all
how dare anyone make fun of them, they worked so hard at such a young age just to have someone laugh at them over a lock screen y/n thought irritated
"oh i desperately wanna go punch that girl" she said putting her fisting together and giving yunho that i-wanna-beat-her-up look
"and after her dumb laughing session was done with she told her friends or so-called-friends" yunho said while doing quotation marks in the air "who just looked at her weirdly which kinda made me feel better cause she finally shut up" he said continuing "but thank god i didn't see her again after the incident" he said looking at me
"oh and sorry for assuming things," he said
"it's fine, i get it," she said smiling at him and putting her hands on his shoulder so reassure him
"so do you wanna start learning about ... "
"ateez," yunho said with jazz hands
her eyes widened, she liked that name
"ateez," she thought to herself with a smile as her heart skipped a beat
the laptop was opened again and no sign of sleep was shown after that
