 Chapter two

 
    My life started off pretty good; well I guess it had to since I was just a kid, so I didn’t have much to worry about. But I guess now that I'm in high school, I have more to worry about. I have to make sure I have 22 credits to graduate, I need to keep my GPA at a 3.5 or higher, I have to worry about the SATs next year, and life after high school, and worse of all, the bullies at the school. I guess it has something to do with being happy that gets bullies crazy. I just don’t let it bother me, most days at least.

        It all started about a year, maybe a year and a half ago… the bullying. At first it was just stupid insults that I didn’t take to heart, like “stupid” “ugly” etc., and I didn’t let what they said affect me just because I knew that it wasn’t true. But when it progressed to threats of my friends and I, it totally got to me. I mean it would to everyone, right? But I did what most people would do; I did what they told me to. Most of it was stupid like letting them copy my work and driving them places. But then they tried to get me to steal stuff for them, and I didn’t realize they were making me drive them to get weed and alcohol. And when I tried to stop them they threatened me more. So I took a chance and the next thing I knew, I was coming home with black eyes, busted lips and bloody noses. You do the math and figure out what happened
