Water spilling over,
Bottle cracking through.
Feel it coming up.
Getting hard to hold this typhoon.
Panting,
Barely breathing,
Hardly taking enough air in.
The lump in my throat,
Tears harshly stinging blue eyes.
Hold it in.
Shut it tight.
Knowing I'll cry alone tonight.
Hush my thoughts.
Hold my tongue.
Seal this mask.
Easily done.
Can't take it.
Barely faking it.
Shattering glass.
Falling down.
Blood drips steady,
A cool calm sets.
Broken alive.
Holding the world.
"Let them help."
Maybe they can.
Wanting to be saved.
But can't take a break.
Make me stop.
Make me breathe.
Help me feel something.
Stop the repeat.
I wanna be different.
Want to stand out.
Want to feel like I'm not falling down.
Change the pace.
Rewrite the map.
Nothing ever feels like it's going to last.
I just wanna be.
Is that too much to ask.
Maybe so.
Watching this water drowned glass.
