Chapter 1 // First day (edited)

(Y/N)'s POV

"she... she's not my sister."

I woke up wide eyed while trying to
catch my breath.

'another nightmare. Great.' I thought
and opened my still sleepy (E/C) eyes.
I groaned and looked at the clock just
to finally realize that It's already 7:02
am.

My eyes immediately went wide and I
automatically stood up from bed , not
bothering to pick up my (Fav Cartoon)
themed blanket that fell on the floor.

- 5 minutes later

after taking a quick bath , looking for
my lost socks , changing clothes while
brushing my hair and listening to a song I was finally done.

I then locked the house and left , I let out a sigh in relief , who would have thought , That I (Y/N) (L/N) could get ready for school in just 5 freaking minutes.

I checked the time and started
running at the street while mumbling curses as if a zombie was chasing me.

- 10 minutes later

I finally arrived at the Karasuno , I now stood infront of it's huye building with a huge grin on my face , feeling proud of myself.

ah fuck...

I just realized I haven't introduced myself yet to you guys ,

I know you're probably like "but im you , and you're me-"

What I mean by introducing myself , I
meant the sad slash dark and depressing background story of mine created by the author.

I am (Y/N) (L/N) , you probably know that already. My life used to be perfect
, I have supportive parents and one super childish older brother. I was in the girl's volleyball club and I was famous for being the little sister of the Grand King , aka Oikawa Tooru.

I was living a perfect life...

but then my mother died and Tooru's real mom appeared. I didn't care if she was my stepmom ..., But she did.

which explains as to why I am now living alone in an apartment and here at a new school

after decades of looking for my class , I now finally found it. The class probably already started 10 minutes ago , and now I'm sure the teacher is so going to kill me.

I knocked twice and went inside after the teacher told me to come in " Im sorry I'm late...I got lost..." I said while trying my best to ignore the stares that I was getting from my classmates.

"oh hi! (L/N) san isn't it? it's fine , its fine" the male teacher said with a warm smile , "that happens to a lot of transfers..." He added with a chuckle , I just nod and gave him a small smile

"alright.. introduce yourself pleass" he
said and I nod and picked a chalk and
wrote my name on the board.

(L/N) (Y/N)

"my name's (L/N) (Y/N), there's
nothing really interesting about me but I do like volleyball" I said while looking at each one of my classmates

, I stared at each one of them until
I was met with two familiar dark eyes, My (E/C) eyes widened and I stared at the owner of those eyes "Tobio..chan?
I whispered to myself

"alright does any of you have a
question for (L/N) san?" the kind teacher asked and a small smiling ginger raised his hand

"yes?" I asked while pointing him "what is the position in volleyball you are most good at??" he asked with his sparkling eyes filled with excitement

I chuckled "well I like all of the positions but I was a middle blocker in my former school , so I guess that's the position I'm kind of most good at.." I explained

and thus the questions continued

"what school did you came from?"

"Kitagawa Daiichi." I answered with a smile

"you were a middle blocker at Kitagawa?!" the same orange haired boy earlier asked

I smiled awkwardly , not knowing what to answer , I looked around and tried to just not answer the question of the ginger

as I was looking around I was met with two dark blue eyes scowling at me. It was Tobio. He raised his hand and I pointed him "yes?"

"what are you doing here?" he asked still scowling at me "Kageyama! you're scaring her!" the small orange haired beside him said but he only ignored him.

"I'm going to ask you again... what are you doing here?..(N/N) san..." he asked again

"what? Am I not allowed to study
in the same school with my most favourite setter in the world?,
To-bi-o chan?~" I asked with a smirk , he rolled his eyes "whatever"

"alright that's enough , (L/N) san
since you and Kageyama kun seem close , you can sit at the seat infront
of him , next to Hinata" the teacher
said and I let out a sigh and nod as a thanks

"class is done! make sure to go
back after lunch!" the teacher said and the students cheered ,

FINALLY , freeedooooom woooOOOOOH- or so I thought...

"are you and Kageyama dating?"

"please help me date Kageyama!"

"is Kageyama your boyfriend??"

are they seriously just gonna ask about him and not me?... I sighed and crossed my arms , I want to leave but I dont want them to think I'm rude or something...

either I

a.) tell them to fuck off and they'll think I'm rude

b.) waste my lunch time answering their stupid questions

c.) walk towards the window and jump.

"oi..." says by a familiar voice , I looked up and see Tobio chan , I smiled playfully "oh hey Tobio chan , you missed me?" I asked

"no , why?" he asked , I sighed and almost facepalmed "so cold!~ why must you hurt my feelings like this Tobio chan!-" I whined

"HEY HEY (L/N) san!!"

we both turned our heads and see a small orange haired sunshine wearing
a huge grin

"that's Hinata... He's obsessed with volley" Tobio explains, I chuckled "I know" I said

"you knew?!" Hinata asked

"yeah.. It's obvious" I told him , he laughed

"ah crap... we only have 10 minutes left to eat!!" Hinata exclaimed and I tilt my head In confusion "the lunch is only 15 mins??" I asked , they shook their heads

"we use half of our lunch time to train" Tobio explained "oh cool , you guys are in the volleyball club??" I asked and they shook their heads

I tilt my head in confusion "we're
not part of the team yet... the captain got mad and wouldn't let me and Kageyama join" Hinata explained "...but why??" I asked

"he got mad because me and Hinata are always fighting..." He answered "how are you gonna play??" I asked , "we challenged them on a 3 on 3 ... if me and Kageyama win , they'll let us join" Hinata said with a grin

I hummed

"let's go then?" Hinata asked and I nod

"sure"
