Chapter 5 // nightmare and a familiar dog (edited)

(Y/N)'s pov

as I was enjoying my dream about my
anime husbandos , My dreams were cut off by my stupid phone which suddenly started ringing.

I let out a muffled groan before grabbing my phone and checking the time before answerimg the call.

5:23 am.

sweet Jesus , who'd be calling me at this time??

I let out a sigh before finally answering the call , I lazily placed the phone on my ear and waited for the unknown caller to talk

"(Y/N)..??"

I frown as I realized who the unkown caller was.

"Oikawa." I muttered while fighting the urge to yawn but end up yawning anyways.

"o-oh I'm sorry , did I wake you up?" he asked softly , I just hummed
not wanting to give him a sarcastic answer because its too early for that and I'm too lazy to do so.

"...you need anything? because if no I'm  going back to sleep." I told him

"w-wait! I-I need to tell you s-something.. it's important"

"how important?" I asked

"because if you're just going to apologize and tell me how you regret shits , You'll just waste my time." I added

"it's about dad."

".. what about him?" I asked while tryning no to show my concern. "he- he's confined in a hospital.." he said , "what happened?" I asked , my voice now obviously filled with worry.

"mum..sh-she accidentally pushed him  down the stairs when they were arguing" he tells me

I tightened my grip on my phone and bit my lip ,

fuck.. I don't know what to say. I wanted to get mad but it felt like I didn't have the rights to do so. After all , I'm not even a part of their family.

"tell him to get well soon" is all I
could say "...are you not going to atleast visit him??" I scoffed

"Do I have to?" I asked "y-yes!..??" "why would I?" I asked and grit my teeth "becau-"

"I need to go. Thanks for letting me know what happened" I said and ended the call without waiting for his response

I sighed and closed my eyes and
tried to go back to sleep ,

in my dream was a younger version of me with my family , my parents were there and so was my 'brother'.

as I was holding my mom's hands , she suddenly starts fading away and soon she became Tooru's mom.

"why are you still here?" she asks

"you're not even a part of this family."
she smirks

my eyes starts to well up and I
looked at papa and Tooru to ask for help , both of  them ignored me.

They were too busy having fun in their oh so called perfect family.

"wh-what can I do for you to accept me?" the same younger version of me asks while tugging at the hem of her dress.

"leave."

I woke up crying , I wiped my eyes and let out a shaky breath and just watched (fav/anime/movie/series)

"I'm hungry.." I mumbled as ny stomach starts to growl , I sighed and lazily get up from bed and checked the fridge just to  realize it is currently empty.

"shit I forgot to buy groceries yesterday" I whispered before letting out a groan

I wore my (f/c) hoodie and take
my phone and wallet with me before heading out ,

as I was closing the gate , I looked beside  me to check my (fav/plant)
if it's still alive. But instead of seeing that , I was met with a dog peeing at my (fav/plant)

"...dude... seriously?" was all I could say at the dog

"oh- oh my god , I'm s-so-sorry , that dog is mi-" says by a familiar voice behind me , I raised an eyebrow and turned around and I was met with an orange haired boy.

"(L/N)...san??" Hinata stared at me wide eyed "Hinata... I'm going to give you 1..no 30 seconds to remove your dog from my plant." I said with my arms crossed

"r-roger!" he exclaimed and pulled
his dog away from my poor plant.

"that dog.." I mumble while pointing my finger at his dog

"wh-what about him??" the ginger asked while trembling "its.. the same dog that chased me"

"oh god, I'm so sorry (L/N) san"
"nah its alright , it already happened" I told him , he let out a sigh in relief

"then I'll treat you some pork buns as an apologize" he grins , I just nod and followed him ,

I'm looking for a store anyways , so might as well be treated some free foods lol.
