"For you baby..." Bulong ng nasa likod ko.
God it is her.
That deep manly voice. That distinct smell. Fresh gingery woody-spicy fragrance. A scent which bring back a lot of memories... joyful memories.
NOSTALGIC!
I closed my laptop and stood up.
Goosebumps! I can feel she breathes heavily. I slowly turned around and faced her.
Our eyes met.
She's too close. I can smell her minty breath. Confusion and amazement in her eyes.
"Jema." She sounded in awe saying my name.
"De-Deanna." I stuttered saying her name.
She gently wipes the sweat off my temple. I didn't notice that I was sweating na pala.
She is still in awe.
Her expression changed when she stares at me. I can't move. My heart beats erratically. Feeling ko sa sobrang kabog ng puso ko nadidinig na ni Deanna.
I suddenly felt weak. Ramdam ko na babagsak ako kapag hindi pa ako kikilos at gagalaw.
"Hey, are you okay?" She worriedly asked.
Napayakap bigla ang kaliwang braso niya sa bewang ko dahil bigla bumigay ang mga tuhod ko.
"I'm fine." Almost whispering I said.
Dammit! I am still soft when it comes to her. Jessica gather yourself nga!
I felt her toned physique pressing into mine.
Butterflies in my stomach.
She never seizes to make me feel this way.
I know I am blushing cause I can feel the blood rushes through my face.
"Are you sure?" She's not convinced to my reply.
"Oo nga." May inis na tugon ko. Parang tanga lang Jema?! Galit galitan?! Bulong ng isip ko. I need to get out of here. Baka ko ano pa magawa kong katangahan.
"Excuse me but I need to go." Tinulak ko siya ng bahagya.
Nagulat siya.
"Stay." She said.
Hinawakan niya ang braso ko ng mahigpit na may pangungusap sa mga mata.
Don't do that Deanna. I thought panicking.
Her cellphone rings. I saw a girl's picture flashing on the screen. Her grip loosen so I was able to pull my arm and hurried the door.
