A/n: a re-write in an older onehshot

Tired? No... droopy.

Droopy was the right way to draw it, slightly sad looking, like on top of lack of sleep, he was sad about something. But note outright, like he had a resting depressed face. What about his irises? They were black? No, Navy... maybe grey? And his eyebags were pretty noticeable, darkness under the eye, and redness around it. It was clear he wasn't getting enough sleep.

It was the most interesting model you'd drawn. His hair was an unusual cut, but worked for him. He was paler than the others on the train. He dressed like he just rolled out of bed, and it was hard not to notice him when he was swinging on the handles earlier.

He sat funny, but not that odd. You often curled up like that when you were cold or something.

He was an oddly charming man, looked around your age.

Only four people sat on the train. A couple on the other end of the carriage, you, and your model. You weren't planning on drawing today, but he was too god to pass up. And this train ran for an hour, so you had time. He seemed engrossed in the music playing through his earbuds as he dramatically gazed out the window as the still rising sun, the purple sky and all the trees and buildings flew past. You wondered what he was listening to, he looked like a classical music guy, maybe alternative. Something with deep lyrics and a meaning behind the words.

You'd take a glance up at him, then back down at your page and add a few lines. He looked sleepy, gloomy and yet oddly at peace. He was the personification of that feeling you get when you're sad about an amazing memory that you wish to go back too.

You'd decided to use blues. He looked like a blue kind of person. Using darker blues for the shadows and lighter blues for the highlights, blending them together to add depth, a 3D effect. You also used purples ams oranges for the sky in the background. Making the morning sun lighting reflect of his pale skin. You drew him as he sat, leaning against the corner, knees out hind chest, arms against the ledge of the window, head against the glass. He looked very aesthetically pleasing like that.

The couple on the other end of the carriage must have been as tired as he looked, as they were peacefully sleeping on each other's shoulders.

Maybe he was so tired because he had to get up early to get here? It was 5am after all. This train took you from one city to another. You were coming home from a trip, you wondered what business he had in your hometown. Work maybe? Family visit?

Picking up a navy, you look a look at him, starting to shade in the shadowed part of his face. His left eye less bright due to the shadow. The whole left side of his face in fact, it was darker because of the light.

You looked up at him again, deciding what shade to use for the shadow on his white shirt, settling on a light blue.

There was just something about this boy.

He radiated such a beautiful energy that was equally as mysterious and sad. You could tell he carried the weight of lots of secrets. He looked like he was struggling with something, something tough. And yet he looked almost... at peace with it? Like he'd accepted there was something wrong, and just embracing the sadness before he tried to fight back.

You had always been told you could read people very well. You wondered if your reading on him was correct.

As you looked down to add some more lines, the white noise of the wheels against the train tracks was broken, by a voice.

"Could it be? Is an artist actually drawing me?"

You froze, not expecting him to speak up. Was it obvious? Could he really tell?
