Red. That was all the young boy saw as his eyes started to clear up a bit. Cuts and bruises littered his frail body  as he shakily stood up. His dull sapphire eyes slowly glanced from side to side trying to familiarise his surroundings, but the constant pounding in his head did not help a single bit. With a sigh, he dragged himself out of the dirty alley and onto the desolate streets. After turning round what seem to be endless corners, he finally came to a small set of house where at the top stood a worn down and graffitied house. He slowly climbed up the mouldy and stained stairs to his door. Fumbling in his pockets for a key, after turning out both of them, the boy gave up and slammed his some what weak body against the door. It didn't budge but after a few more attempts, the door swung open violently and he crashed on to the floor. His aching muscles clawed at him as he placed both feet behind the door and pushed it close. At this point he couldn't move anymore; excruciating pain flowed through his entire body and more blood poured out through his wounds. He could not tell if it was from blood loss or exhaustion, but his heavy eyelids finally gave in and fell into a deep slumber.
