"Val?," I heard my husband, Marton,  call out.

We've been married for almost a year now, I do love him, but I constantly feel how it was done out of convenience. He probably figured out by now that it's how I felt about our marriage. Sure I told him together forever but try to understand, I didn't expect to fall pregnant and I was never emotionally invested with Marton.

I've always been in love with his brother and as bad as it is, he is also married.
Why is the universe so cruel sometimes. For once I wished those porn scenarios would come true, but it has never, we do flirt sometimes but I just want more, I need more and I'd never be able to have it

"Valerie?" He walked into the room taking me out of my deep thought. A thought that haunts me on a daily basis.
"Yes you called me?"
"I just came to check up on when my wife would be getting out of bed and joining me for breakfast," he walked towards me and planted a sour kiss on my cheek. Using the "my wife" thing to remind me I belonged to him and unfortunately not his brother. How long more will this go on for.

I get myself showered and dressed, seeing Marton in a rush to get to school, he was a biology teacher there. Marton was everything, he had a good job and a sense of humour I guess, but I'm not as attracted to him as I wish I could be, then life would be much simpler

I can't tell if he's late for a class or because he's still mad at me after our fight last night when I kept questioning him about his brother. Either way this can't go on for much longer, and I need to get to work. I get into my car without saying anything to Tom in fear he might bring it up again.
It's been 20 minutes since he's been acting like he's in a rush, but hasn't moved anywhere one bit.

I arrive at work, with my boss already at my desk ready to give me a ton of paperwork. You'd think he'd take it easy on an okay looking female employee but he had no mercy.
