Connor was at a complete loss for words so his idiot mind took over

Cayde nods and holds out a bowl of ramen
"Hear it's on me, I'll explain what's going on when the others get here"

The sound of heavy foot steps made them both look over to see another titan heading right for them

Sara looks for the place the vanguard told her to meet at but was shocked at what she found, it was a ramen shop

She could see Cayde speaking with a different titan, he had his helmet on so she couldn't see his face

She walked up to them and Cayde instantly gave her a bowl of ramen

Mya recognizes the coordinates instantly and heads to the noodle shop

She jump over the side rail and lands in one of the seats right next to the vanguard hunter himself

Cayde nods and she looks at the titans who were also with them, both had helmets on but the one in orange and white took his off to revile his painted face, a purple skull painted on it, must have been a fire team thing

Snuck up to the shop and saw Cayde through his scope of his rifle and smiles before walking over seeing another hunter and two titans

"Well well well, Cayde you old bot....why am I being pulled from my little apprentices who like me so much?"

Natasha grabs her best armor, her fanciest weapon, and made sure the paint on her metal face was perfect

She made her way to the location and found a disappointing little ramen shop, what was this?

She walked over and saw the vanguard hunter who was surrounded by four other guardians, they must be Caydes fans

She floated up to them removing her helmet and bows

"Greetings vanguard hunter Cayde, my name is Natasha daughter of....."

Cayde interrupts her

"Welcome nat, have some ramen"

He pushed a bowl of noodles to her, this was not What she had expected.

"One last person and I'll tell you all why you have been summoned"

Last person? That couldn't be right, how was she gonna show off her superior skills if some idiotic titans and the always annoying hunters stealing her show

Another bite of that mana from heaven ramen

"You guys are really good at your jobs, Sara has led over 50 successful raids of the hive and the cabal, Connor has made a name for himself with the crucible with praise from shaxx "

Connor perks up
"Really?"

"Yeah, he says your kinda like a young him"

"Mya, your a badass, that's enough said, Adem is a top hunter, Natasha was the smartest in all her classes and has an impressive historical history, and finally mace who has never given up on any quest he's been given except growing a Scene if humor "

Mace glares at Cayde

"You guys will be taking a troop ship out to the ghost town, your a team now, I suggest getting to know each other, oh yah your leaving right now "

They all gave him a look, at least the ones with helmets off did

Y/n POV

Y/n turns away as the monsters led the orphanage teacher to the middle of the street where they shot him

Y/n looks around at all the bodies, everyone they knew, all dead

One of the monsters turned its eyes to them and drew a knife ready to gut them, it walked towards them but one of the bigger ones shoved its gun in the smaller ones face and spoke in a dripping sarcastic and soft voice, but they spoke in a completely different language

It had a more feminine body not that y/n could exactly see that with them being 6

They looked up at the big one who just grabbed them by the shirt and threw them in a cell

The big one left after locking it behind her
