It's been a few weeks since the Valentine's Day fiasco with Dark Cupid. Since then we've dealt with a few akumas. Horrificator(Mayline), Darkblade(Dargencort), and Le Mime. They where each whoppers to deal with. But on another note Mari's is now the class rep and things have actually taken off for me here in Paris somewhat. Today though Mari's well now our great Uncle was going to be paying a visit for a cooking competition here in Paris. It would be my first time meeting any of my other relatives since becoming apart of this family and I was nervous. Okay nervous was an understatement I was terified. "Lloyd calm down he'll like you" Gong and Tikki both said both trying to sooth my nerves.

"Gah Lloyd are these flowers good enough?!" Mari asked tumbling in with a boquet of purple flowers

Yeah apparently both of are freaking out about meeting this uncle. And another problem he only spoke Mandarin. I only knew french because I got bored as a kid so when ever I had down time and the guys weren't teaching me I studied various languages: French, Spanish, English, even Swahilli. But I did not know Mandarin. But I knew who did, Adrien I gave him a call. "Please pick up" I muttered like a mantra

"Lloyd?" Adrien questioned

"Hey you wouldn't happen to be busy right now would you?" I asked

"No why?" Adrien asked

"Well a great uncles of our mother's is coming into town today for the cooking show and well he really doesn't speak english very well because his first language is mandarin so I was wondering if you'd like to help Mari and I out along with getting some practice in for your Chinesse?" I explained

"Sure be there in ten" Adrien said

"Thank you your a life saver" I sighed letting out a breath I didn't know that I'd been holding

"See you soon" Adrien said hanging up

I hung up as well as a sense of relief washed over me. The doorbell rang and I answered it now I knew that it wasn't Adrien, but it was our great uncle. I felt the sudden urge to crawl into a hole and die. Mari tried to use an app to communicate with him but that backfired. Luckily at that moment Adrien showed up. "Thank god your here" I said dragging him inside the house

"Got here as quick as I could even my father was estatic that you found a way to help me with my lessons" He said

Mari froze when she saw Adrien. I looked outside to see a limo for our uncle arriving. "Let's go our chariot awaits" I said

We all piled into the limo and rode off to Le Grande Paris Hotel apparently uncle would be facing off against a chef from Ninjago as well today for the same title. I sighed knowing that more than likely it be someone I knew. And when we arrived I saw that I was right.

But I acted calm and restrained myself from lashing out at them. Because it was my former team. Adrien and Mari both stiffened we'd all assumed it would be months before I confronted them during our field trip, but it happened sooner that I thought. "Today Chef Cheng and Chef Zane will both go for the title of worlds greatest chef" Alex said as it was broadcasting live

I saw Uncle Cheng smile and so did Zane. "So what dishes will you two be making for us today?" Alex asked

Adrien translated for our uncle meanwhile I knew Zane completely understood him. "Celestial soup" Uncle said

Everyone was in awe at this since that soup was his legendary dish. I knew Zane was gonna cook his Serenitea Pork strips. "Lloyd we need to talk" Kai said once Zane and Uncle Cheng had left

"About what?" I growled

"You need to stop your pouting and come home to us your real-" Kai started to say before Adrien slammed his hand down onto the table.
