(Papyrus' POV:)
I am worried for my Brother. He assumed I was dead so quickly, but why? Why would that be the first conclusion he reaches? And who did he think did it? His eyes too... I have never seen his eyes like that. For a moment, my lazy, unmotivated, amazing, aggravatingly funny brother was... scary. I hate to say it, but I got chills when I saw him, sitting there, tears leaking from his darkened eyes, clutching my dust-covered scarf in his hands. To make him feel better, I cleaned where he could see me. After a while, I hear an aggressive knock at the door, and immediately know who it is. I open the door, a smile on my face as I greet one of my amazing friends. "Undyne! How are you?" I ask, and she smiles back at me. "I'm doing good, punk! How about you?" She asks me, and I glance behind me at Sans. "I'm doing good! Wanna talk about training?" I ask her, and mouth 'I have something to tell you' She nods, and says "Sure Punk! What about it?" I turn around, looking at my brother. "Sans, I'm going outside to train with Undyne!" I call, and he just mumbles an okay. I walk outside and close the door. "What's up punk? What's with the secrecy?" Undyne asks me seriously. "I am worried. It's about Sans." I start, and she looks at me with concern in her... well... eye. "What about him?" She asks. "He... I was cleaning, you see, and had gotten my gloves dirty. I went into the kitchen to clean them, and I guess my scarf fell off or something, because when I came back... I saw Sans, who had been upstairs looking for his slippers, on his knees, his eye-sockets dark and filled with tears, clutching my dust covered scarf." I finish, and her expression goes from alarmed, to confused, to worried, and settled on concern. "Is the little dude okay?" She asks, and I nod. "He seems fine now." I respond. She nods slowly, and her face goes back to confusion. "Why would that be his first conclusion?" She wonders aloud. "That was one of my worries too. Why didn't he look for me at all? Why didn't he check before getting upset? Who did he think did it?" I ask, and she nods at each question, her body going still at the last one. "I dunno, Paps. I dunno. Your brother... he doesn't like to talk about himself too much." She says, and I nod. "Maybe Human Frisk knows something!" I say, and she nods. "Maybe. But hey, let's not worry about that for now. It's a day to celebrate, after all!" Undyne says, and I perk up, remembering the tiny human's Birthday. "Indeed! But perhaps we should actually train now, to make it believable, and if the Human comes, then we came show them how we spar!" I say, and she nods, her face lighting up at the prospect of another one of our spars. "Let's duel, Punk!" She says, summoning a spear. I summon a bone. "I, the Great Papyrus, accept your challenge!" I cry out, and the duel begins.

(Author's Note: Paps is worried! What's going on with his brother? Why was he so quick to believe his brother had died? Who did he think did it? Eh, a birthday is at hand, so it's best not to worry about it for now. It's time to celebrate!)
