"Thats it! I've had enough of you! I'm leaving!" the loud sharp voice of his husband rang in his ears before it was followed by loud footsteps and the slam of the door. Baekho stared in disbelief as Minhyun had just walked out on him. Sure, they argued quite a bit due to their differences but Minhyun had never stormed out like that before. Their three children stared at them with starry eyes.

"Dad, where did mum go?" the oldest, Aron asked. Baekho rubbed his face and groaned.

"It's alright, Aron. He's just taking a short timeout for himself," Baekho said. He wasn't even sure why they were arguing anymore. It started when he came home late the previous day and forgot to turn the washing machine on which led to a lack of clothes for their children and then the electricity broke down and his husband had to hand wash everything since the closest laundrette was 30 minutes away and he had completely forgotten to send their second child, Jonghyun for dance class. He guessed it was his fault but it was always his fault. He sighed and tried not to get upset at the three youngsters who dispersed to do their own things. Aron was already 9 so he could handle most things by himself. Jonghyun was 8 and Minki was just 6. If his children hadn't been so little, he would have chased after Minhyun without a doubt in mind but someone still had to care for them now that his husband had left the house with his wallet and phone.

Baekho thought Minhyun would come back if he had cool down enough but an hour turned into two and soon half a day had passed.

"Dad, is mum not coming home?" Jonghyun asked as they were eating dinner together. It was just a simple preheated dinner from last night's leftovers.

"He will be home soon," Baekho lied, unsure if he could even trust himself saying those words. After he had tucked the three of them in bed, he finally had the time to check his phone. There were no missed calls or messages from Minhyun and by now, he was starting to get worried. What if Minhyun wanted a divorce? What if Minhyun really meant to leave him? What about the kids? Being fathers were already tough work. Lots of thoughts started crossing his mind as he rubbed his neck, feeling really tired as he laid in bed. He pulled Minhyun's bolster over, smelling the flowery scent of his husband that still lingered on the bed. He wished he had said sorry instead of getting mad at him too. He didn't know why he didn't. They were just so used to yelling at each other or bickering about the smallest things that Baekho felt like it was a miracle when Minhyun had even said yes to his proposal.

Minhyun was mad. Of course, he was mad. They had already split their workload so both of them wouldn't be too burdened with taking care of three children. Three! Minhyun had only wanted one but Baekho's soft heart couldn't leave the others alone too. He loved his husband so he couldn't say no. He loved children too but it didn't mean he was ready to be a father for three. The washing machine breaking down and Baekho forgetting to send Jonghyun for class weren't even the last straw. It was what Baekho had accidentally said when Minhyun started nagging him.
