I was now on the couch as I carried kairi
I was on my phone calling pretty little thing to see if I could start working

"Yh it's me I was wondering if I could start working on my collection"I said to her
"Yh is it okay if you could come in tomorrow"the lady said

I decided to call Anisa to see if she could babysit kairi while me and Dave go to work

"Hey girl"she said back
"Anisa can you do me a favour please"I asked

"Can you please baby sit kairi while I go to work"I asked
"Yh why not bring her tomorrow and her stuff"she said

"No problem"she said and I cut the phone
I went upstairs to go sleep and I saw Dave carrying Kairi on his chest
I got in the bed and didn't say any thing to him because I was pissed of
Next day
I took a shower and got dressed I went to go bath Kairi and she started crying
Once I finished I put on her clothes Dave now woke up I guess to Kairi crying continuously he picked her and started to kiss her cheek as she stop crying
I got Kairi stuff ready so I could drop her at Anisa house
I got her car seat out so I could put her there
"Dave can I please have Kairi"I said
"Where you going"he asked
"I'm going to drop her at anisas place"I said
He handed her to me and I strapped her in her car seat and walked towards my car
Me and Kairi were in the car on are way to anisas house
We eventually got there I knocked on the door and heard footsteps
Anisa opened the door
"Hey girl"she said hugging while still at Kairi
"So this is all Kairis stuff that she will need"I said giving her the bag and the car seat
"Ok good luck at work"she did to me
"Thank you"I said back
I was now on my way to work
I eventually reached there and I met the lady that I was speaking to over the with
We spoke about my salary and more I was now finished
And I was on my way to pick up my baby
I arrived at anisas houses I knocked on the door and she came and opened it for me I saw Kairi sleeping in her car seat peacefully as I smiled
"Thank you Anisa"I said
"No problem bring her anytime she was wonderful"she said
"Ok thank you"I said leaving
Me and Kairi got in the car as I drove back home
I decided to stop at chipotle so I could buy me and Dave something to eat
I got home and there was a strong smell of weed and smoke everywhere making me squeeze my nose
I saw Dave on the couch smoking
"Dave what the fuck at you doing"I said angry And he ignored me
"Dave go out side and smoke"I said to him He got up and slammed the door making me kiss my teeth
I went upstairs to Kairi upstairs and changed her into he pjs
I was lying down on the bed while I fed Kairi as she fell asleep
I took her to her room and placed her on he bed gently
I went back to the room and saw Dave on the bed
"Dave what's wrong"I said curiously as he was in a bad mood
"My cousin just died"he said
"Dave I'm sorry to hear that"I said comforting him as he lied his head on my chest
