During their long but shortish hospital stay shouko and y/n became closer and "talked" more. Y/n and shouko both realized how they were both to blame. Y/n waved at her when shouko walked away. Trying to make a amends with everyone she would say sorry to everyone.
Y/n stayed at the hospital corner leaning against a pole carefully for her arm. She glanced from the floor up to the figure that just exited the hospital. The figure stared at her before walking straight past her but for y/n it was pretty normal since ueno saw her at the corner since Monday. Y/n only tried saying sorry to ueno. And getting help from kazuki she realized how much she had to try.
But this time was different.
Ueno slightly grumbled at the rain but seeing y/n at the corner with the umbrella she started walking past her again. Shivering from the cold she kept walking but stopped feeling the rain stop hitting her shoulder. She looked back and stared at the h/c girl as the rain persisted on falling on her
"ueno.." they stared at each other for a few seconds.

-Shoyas pov -(like finally ml)
I felt myself be able to move..finally. I sat up rubbing my eyes but glanced around "what the-I'm in a hospital room?" I looked around and saw cords attached to me but I immediately yanked them off remember what happened "y-y/n..!" Quickly getting off the bed I hurried out of the hospital no matter how much my heart started hurting.
(Y/N's pov)
After talking to ueno I was pretty tired from walking "eh. My mom won't be home soon" quickly shoving my hands in my pockets I walked over the bridge and to the middle. Resting my head on my hand I looked down at the rather blue calming water below. Staring at the fish swimming peacefully made me smile..how free they are.. a quick sigh escaped my lips before turning to walk away
"Y-y/n!" My eyes widened hearing her name along with slight panting she slowly turned around and saw shoya in a hospital grown and without any shoes whatsoever.
"Sh-shoya..?" She turned around fully before walking up to him still shocked. She put her hand out and placed it on his cheek staring up at him before tears started to slowly escape her eyes "y-your okay..!" She quickly pulled him in a hug the slowly started crying into his chest "I-I'm Sorry! I was being a complete idiot! I shouldn't have been so stupid!"
Shoya looked down at her and hugged her back letting her cry her heart out. He slowly smiled "y/n.." she looked up at him as the tears smudged on her face "It's okaY..as long as your okay I'm okay." she sniffed "b-but you-Your the one in the hospital not me" he gave her a grin. "Oh don't worry about me. I'm not the one in bandages." She looked down at her held up arm full of bandages and grumbled softly in embarrassment causing him to chuckle and hug her again "I missed you.." she smiled "I missed you too. Everyone did..especially-" she stopped herself. Ueno would be embarrassed. For like a week. She smiled to herself "especially shouko" he chuckled "I'm happy your okay.."he kissed her forehead lightly and smiled at her. She blushed lightly forgetting the heat on her cheeks after awhile and smiled to herself like an idiot. "Hey shoya.." he looked down at her "yeah..?" She felt her heart beat faster and her palms start to shake as she stepped back a bit the looked up at him
"I.......I love you.."
she frowned to herself and looked at the floor ready for straight rejection. Shoya looked at her until his cheeks started to go red after realizing what she said. he grabbed her chin and lifted her head up to look at him "I-I love you too!" He smiled and she blushed but smiled back as well hugging him again.

Y/n walked home with a smile on her face but she noticed the door creaked open. Her face contorted into a confused glance as she saw her moms car "she's home?" She checked her phone for the time "she doesn't get home till 1..?" She looked around and slowly pushed the door open hearing it creak "..mom..?"
She walked inside and quietly tip toed through the hall way. She grabbed a fork (yes a fork) holding it close and walked into the kitchen before sneaking in the side and flicking the light on "SURPRISE!!" She jumped at the sudden feminine voice and looked up seeing her next to someone holding a large teddy bear. Her mouth went agape "I-uh.." her mother looked at her grinning before looking next to her "oh hold on." she grabbed the large teddy bear and placed it down revealing a man wearing a business suit along with 1-3 suit cases around them
"there" she cleared her throat "SURPRISE!!" Y/n stood in shock staring at her The two holding there hands out. She quickly dropped the forks "d-dad..?" He grinned and she quickly ran and hopped in his arms ignoring her casted and hurting arm. Her tears slowly started falling down and her mother smiled before hugging them both "your really her-here..!" He smiled "of course! And I got you a teddy bear! Along with a few other things but for later" he kissed her cheek and smiled. Her mother lightly teared up and squeezed the two in a tight warm hug
(Time skipp)
Shoyas pov)
"I'm glad your back!" mother spoke as she drove up to the house. Both of us got out and niece looked up at me smiling "yay! He came back from the dead!" Uhhhh. Mom grinned "that's right!"
I looked up but spotted ueno instead as she scurried off. Mom put her hand on my shoulder "you should go thank her. She was next to you everyday day in the hospital" I quickly nodded and started catching up to her
(Time skip after he ran after her lmao)
Shoya sat at a bench as Ueno stood infront of him with her hands in her pockets "hey Shoya..I'm glad your okay." She smiled at him and slowly started walking away but stopped "the boys pulled you out. Kazuki and the rest didn't want me to tell you" she chuckled and Shoya looked up at her "thanks for being with me ueno.." she looked at him "I-it wasn't a big deal" she blushed in embarrassment then quickly started walking away
