Chapter 3:Explaining

I crossed my arms together and said "Oh you have some explaining to do mister"

Naruto's POV
"Well..." I started as I played with my fingers 

"Uhhhh... I won't know how to say this..." I continued 

"What do you mean?" Gaara asked 

"Well I uhh..."

 'How can I tell my CRUSH  that I'm depressed?!' I thought to myself then I thought of an excuse 

"W-while I was on a mission I was hit with poison s-so I have to uhh c-cut myself?..." 

'Crap! Why did it came out as a question?!' I thought panicking 

"Then if that realty happened why are you asking?" He  (More like stated) 

"Uhhhh...." I didn't look at him in the eyes I just stared at the broken wooden floor like it was the most interesting thing in the world

Gaara's POV
I just looked at him look at the floor then said

 "*Sigh* Naruto..." I said then he looked up to me with those eyes that I love but I can see bit of mixed emotions, confusion, worried, and most of all sadness,

That's not the eyes of the Naruto that I know... But what do I know? We haven't really talked to each other for the past months since I have to do a lot of work to

I put my both my hands on each of his shoulders as I made him look at me "Naru, look at me" 

I saw him flinch a little bit and carefully lifted his head to look at me as I saw a... blush?

Naruto's POV

"Naru, look at me" As I hear him shorten my name and made it my nickname I flinched, but not because I was scared but because HE, Gaara, MY CRUSH, called me by nickname! I felt my cheeks heating up as I slowly look up at him 'Gosh this is embarrassing '

"Now please tell me why are you doing this to yourself" He pleaded

Kid, I think you should open up to him

'I can't bother him with my problem'

I can't just stay quiet while my kid is suffering  

'I don't want him to hate me..'

If he hate you he wouldn't have bothered cleaning your wounds nor want to know what happened to you

'He's the only one that's left who still cares for me, I don't want him to think of me as useless'

Right he CARES for you, please kid at least give him a chance

Gaara's POV

I look at Naruto as he is in daze, me being confuse as to why

'Is he talking to the nine tails?' I questioned in my mind

"Naru?" I called out 

"Gaara, promise me you won't hate me when I tell you..." He said in a quiet voice but enough for me to hear

"I promise"
