You can have 2 kinds of bases.
TROPHY BASE
FARMING BASE
trophy bases
They protect you mortars and town hall. when you have these bases you can get more and more trophies because raiders can't get to your town hall.
Farming bases
Farming bases protect your resources. that means you have resources in the middle and cannons mortars everything is around it but the TH is out in the corner or something then you only lose like 8 trophies but you better have a strong army because that is how you get your trophies.
