Lazer Tag (Adam x Reader)

Your POV

James, Tim, Jaiden, Adam, and I were all getting ready for a game of Lazer Tag. "So, free for all or are we gonna do teams?" I asked grabbing my lazer gun and aiming it at Tim as if I was chosing him to speak. I wasn't but he was the closest to me.

"Well that depends on what you guys want Ms. Shoots A Lot." he said jokingly.

"Free for all! I'll get to show you guys how good I am." Adam said. Jaiden rolled her eyes but agreed with him. "Yeah let's do it." she said. We all agreed and we went into the maze to hide. I was hiding in the dark waiting for my first victim. Maybe I'll get James, or Jaiden, or Adam... Nah it would be hard to shoot Adam. But if I don't he'll tease me.

I heard a scream from far away. It didn't sound like Jaiden's scream so it had to be one of the guys. In the corner of my eye was Tim. My gun was in my hand as I watched him like a hawk. And suddenly......"Surprise mother fucker!" I said jumping out and shooting Tim. He seemed pretty surprised which was what I was going for.

"Nice move, but good luck with Adam and Jaiden. I haven't seen them since we got in here." he said  I guessed James was the person I heard scream. I hid in my spot waiting for my next victim.

I heard Adam step in. "Jaiden....(Y/n)...Come out come out wherever you are." he said.

I was getting ready to poke out but I think he saw me as I heard him whisper. "Clever girl." He tried to shoot me but I dodged and tackled him to the floor. I felt my face heat up as I saw him pinned to the floor by me.

"I'm impressed. You really got me there. Plus I don't mind getting tackled." he said smiling at me.

"Don't try to talk your way out of this. I got you now stop and surrender." I said looking for my gun. I realized that he was holding it. Shit!

"Now listen. I'm serious. It's nice to finally talk to you alone. "

"Why do you wanna talk to me alone?"

"Well, have I ever told you how pretty you are up close?" he said starting off.

"You don't look so bad yourself. " I said as I rapped my arms around him and pulled him. I could swear his face lit up a bit but before anything else could happen we both got shot.

"I win!" Jaiden said jumping up and down. "And at the right time too."

Both of us looked at each other kinda embarrassed. Adam helped me up. "Nice job kid." he said picking me up. "I'm older than you." I reminded him. We both laughed and joined the rest of our friends.

"So what took Adam and (Y/N) so long?" Tim asked.

We both looked at each other. While trying to find the right words Adam took over. "She's really good at this game.  It took me forever to find her and she ever tackled me. I want her on my team." Adam said. I blushed and smiled him.

"Ok then. Tim, James and I will be a three way team." Jaiden said. After a break we all went back into the maze. I was scared but Adam wasn't done talking to me.

"So about early. " he began. "There's uh... something I've been wanting to talk about. Do you like anyone in the group?" he asked me.

"Uh....yeah. Maybe. I don't know. Why you ask?" I said

"I was just wondering. So, who's this person you have in mind?"

"Adam." I said wanting to stop him.

"Tim?"

"No."

"James?"

"No!"

"Maaz?"

"ADAM STOP!" I yelled.

It was dead silent. I felt bad for yelling at him. We were just hiding away. I probably gave away our hiding stop too. After another minute or so I said something. "Adam I'm..." "No it's alright, I shouldn't of asked you. I was being nosey. I just...you know what nevermind I'm sorry." he said looking down.

I looked outside to see if anyone was coming and when it was safe I whispered. "You know. The only reason I didn't tell you was because maybe you wouldn't except it."

"So Jaiden?" he asked.

I giggled and watched as if his heart was melting. "No silly. I was worried YOU wouldn't except it."

"Well maybe I thought you wouldn't expect mine too." Adam said looking at me.

I looked up at Adam and I looked down. "You mind if I do something?" I said holding his hands.

"No, what do you wanna d-"

Before we could finish I kissed him. I felt Adam smile a bit and then kiss back. We started making out a bit until someone found shot me.

"Whoa were you guys? Sorry." Tim said backing up a bit.

We both forgot about the game. Oh well. Tim left and we both looked at each other. "So are we gonna play the game or what?" he asked me.

I pulled him back into a kiss and be both laughed. "Come on let's go find the others. I wanna go home." he said. "Yeah I'm tired and I could use some where to relax. Can I hang out at your place?" I asked him. "Wouldn't want it any other way." he said grabbing my hand and walking us out.
